thing to do,is to visit the link at,tick tock,we will have this page and we will click,in the top right on get started,we will choose our email address the,email address that we want to use,to sign up to tick-tock,for business otherwise we could also use,our phone number so,i add my email,then i choose password,i confirm the password,and then i click on send code here in,order to have,an email with verification code,now you will have a verification,uh we have to simply drag the slider,to fit the puzzle and here we are,so now we will receive at the email,provided,the email selected a code,that we are gonna use we are gonna add,inside here,i already got mine which is this one,will be a one-time code just,to verify that you're using,an existing any email,we click on tiktoka's terms a condition,and privacy policy and we can sign up so,this is a first little,setup of our tick tock ad account,we are gonna choose first our country,region in this case,united states our industry in my case,it's an ecommerce,clothing and shows business name,we are gonna just put the name,of my terminal,then we can choose the time zone that we,prefer,we can select our phone number,now i will put a random one just to,have it and we can choose the currency,that we want lastly,we we are we're gonna um click again,on terms and condition platform payment,terms and advertising guidelines,then we can click on register,cool now as before for the email,we will have a verification also for the,phone number,so once we arrive at this page,we just need to um,to click on send code and we will,receive,an sms with a small code that we need to,put here,and verify,okay so if you arrived here you have,created your tiktok ads manager,your tick tock account and we can start,to set it up,the first thing you will see is this,information regarding,ios 14 new policy that may affect your,your ads um either for tick tock but,super for other social media marketing,platform,but we will talk about this in depth i'm not and the payment,method,once we click on submit,the account will be under review,as you can see by clicking here on,account setup,on the left column you can see that the,account,is under review once you will see,the account status in good to go it,means that your account is ready,and you can go on with your tick tock,ads,or creating the pixel and so on,usually it takes really few minutes so,for example,if you refresh three times you should,already see,that the account is ready let's try as,you can see,the account is already good to go so we,can use it,to create our ads or to set up our pixel,and so on so what we will do,now is to talk about the business center,so how to create it and how to set up,the business center itself as you can,see here,we have all our information the,information about our business,the contacts the owner and the payment,method,now we can go to create and set up our,business center,which is another important part of our,tick tock for business,so we go again on the top,right side of the screen and we click,on the back logo which is the business,center part,we will have another window,where we can create,the tick tock business center,so here we are as you can see,um since the account is new when we have,just created,we can create a new business center,so we just put again the name,of my channel,take your,pills time zone again,let's put new york and we can,create our business manager it's very,easy as it is,here now we have created our business,center,we can go inside or create more,business center,in this case i want to show you how how to link up your tick tock ads,account to that tick tock business,center now for those who are wondering,on why you might may want a tick tock,business center the most common reason,is that you are running multiple tick,tock ad accounts say you are an agency,or you have multiple ad accounts that,you want to manage all under one roof,that is essentially the reason why you'd,want to set up a tick tock ad center,also if you are just managing one,account i do recommend setting this up,because it's just kind of clean hygiene,it's an easy way to give people access,to different different settings and,things like that essentially a tick tock,business center is the equivalent of a,facebook business manager if you're,familiar with the facebook world and,here's what tic toc has to say about the,business center on essentially why,people would consider doing it is one is,for the collaboration centralization all,of your assets are on one place and then,accountability you can control who has,permission to those assets as well so,there's lots of different reasons on why,you'd want to set up a tick tock,business center but basically like i'm,saying i recommend everybody sets up the,tick tock business center and then,creates their ad account and attaches it,there so i'm going to show you exactly,how to um do this so the first thing,you're going to want to do is come over,here to,www.tiktok.com forward slash business,i'll link this down below as well so you,can just go through and click that link,you're going to see something like that,looks like this we're going to click in,this top right hand corner create new,and if for whatever reason you've,already created a ad account then no,worries i'm going to show you how you,can link up that ad account directly to,your,business center account as well so i'm,going to go through and add these,details real quick in here,and once you get to this point it's,going to ask for you uh for a,verification code to send your email so,you got to send that over you got to,pick the shapes,so we got here objects that are the same,shape we've got k and k we're going to,hit confirm,verification complete and then now it's,going to send a,a code to our email so we're going to go,and grab that real quick once you have,that verification code in your email,just copy that inside there and then,we're going to sign up it is worth,noting as well you can sign up through,tick tock directly or with a phone,number if you'd like if you don't want,to use your email but we're going to use,email for here we're going to click on,these terms and then if you want to get,emails from tick tock you can keep this,checked i'm going to uncheck it we're,going to hit sign up okay and now we are,going to go through and create our,account so i am in the united states i'm,going to keep that as is industry i'm,going to call this e-commerce,and it asks for even more we're going to,say closing shoes this is just a test,account so we're going to keep it at,that and then business name we'll call,it house to home diy and then,our time zone i am located,american denver and phone number and,currency and once again we agree to the,terms and services and hit register,now it's going to go through and ask for,a couple of different other descriptions,to describe your business,okay so we went through and added our,website and then it's asking for billing,information so i'm going to add in some,billing information real quickly,or billing address sorry,and then here is kind of an important,thing depending on how you want to get,billed you can either do automatic,payment where you essentially add your,credit card and when you hit a certain,payment threshold tick tock will charge,your credit card or if you wanted to,only say oh i only want to charge 100 no,matter what that way it doesn't go over,you could add a manual payment,so that that way the card never gets,charged any more than you want it to i'm,going to keep it on automatic payments,for now we're going to hit next,and then here it's going to walk you,through and ask you if you want,simplified mode or custom mode i,recommend custom mode because it the opportunity here now tik tok was the most ,downloaded app in 2020 with 850 million downloads
okay tiktok has 1.1 billion active users worldwide ,with 90 of users using the app multiple times per
day so we can get ourselves in front of our ideal ,customer multiple times a day on average now as
of january 2021 tick tock raked in 128 million in ,user spending marking an increase of 380 from its
january 2020 revenue so it's growing year on year ,almost 4x in user revenue now take top ranks
as the second biggest app in consumer spend ,above youtube disney plus and netflix this
is probably the uh the biggest stat on this ,screen ranking above youtube and netflix in
consumer spend is absolutely ridiculous so ,it's a monumental opportunity for people and
businesses to sell their products on the platform ,how many times have you spoken to someone they've
said ah i found that product on tick tock it's ,happening a lot these days so let's jump on to how
you can actually make the most of that so this is ,the tick tock ad structure so at the top we have
tick tocks ad manager then we have ad campaigns ,we have ad groups we have ad creative and then
landing pages to break these down one by one tick ,doc ads manager is where you manage your ticktock
advertising account similar to the facebook ,ad manager now a ad campaign is the foundation
of your ad so we're setting up our advertising ,objectives and formats we then have ad group which
is target audiences ad placements budget and the ,bidding then we have the ad creative which is
the text and the video that will appear on our ,apps what we're physically seeing then finally our
landing page and this is the destination url that ,we are driving our potential customers too this
is the place where they will actually buy our ,products or service so when you actually have your
tick tock ad account up and running this is kind ,of what the format will look like we have our ad
manager at the top we have campaigns beneath that ,then inside an ad campaign we would have multiple
ad groups so we'll be testing out multiple ,audiences and inside those audiences we may even
be testing out multiple different ad creatives ,as well so what are the actual creative the the
creative formats that we can use on tick tock well ,we have top view on the left hand side here which
is like a full-size video which shows up when we ,launch the app we don't have brand tank takeover
now these are the most expensive tic toc ads and ,very large brands use these and again these come
up right at the start of launching the app and it ,takes over the entire screen then have in feed ads
this is what we're going to be going through today ,and what most businesses are actually using
to generate the most revenue from tick tock ,we have branded hashtag challenges so if we

own branded stickers on uh on tick tock itself so ,people can use them when they're creating their

ads we're going to go into shopify we're going ,to link our store we're going to make sure the
pixel is set up properly we're going to make ,sure that you can get amazing tick-tock results
for those that are new to the channel i'm davey ,foggerty my shopify stores have done over 400
million dollars in sales in just four years tick ,tock ads is the new kid on the blog usually we're
heavily reliant on facebook because it's such an ,incredible marketing tool but lots of people are
getting heaps of success with the new entertaining ,nature of tick tock ads so it might be perfect
for your brand this video is perfect for beginners ,we're not going to skip any steps but i'm also
going to go into some advanced things around ,content because that is so important to make sure
that you make tick tock ads work the first step ,you're going to want to do is set up your shopify
store if you haven't set up your shopify store ,just pause the video click the link in my bio and
set it up now we've got one set up through our ,lemon scrub series so it's got most of the things
ready we're just going to make sure that we set up ,tiktok properly so the pixel is firing once you're
in shopify the best way to go is go into apps and ,just write in tiktok simply download the official
tiktok app and click add sales channel this is the ,exact same as facebook nowadays this will bring
up this little tick tock section down on the left ,hand store of your shopify store if you don't have
shopify still carry on watching we're going to get ,into the nitty gritty in a second once this is set
up we can click this section here setting up the ,pixel the next step you can see that it's saying
connect tick tock for business this is where you ,need a new tick tock account already have a tick
tock business account you can just click connect ,but today we're gonna have to create a brand new
one so i'm just gonna click create new at the top ,enter my email address get the verification code
sent into the verification code here agree to ,terms and conditions and just click sign up you
can click connect down the bottom right and that's ,now created an ads manager business manager under
that email we can click create new ad account and ,we can select the country and the currency that we
want to be built in this is generally the region ,that you want to be targeting change the business
name to something a little bit simpler click sign ,up and connect you'll come to this data sharing
section which we've touched on a few times in my ,previous episodes just click enhanced or maximum
providing you've got the terms and conditions set ,up for something and then click confirm maximum
is obviously preferred this is how shopify shares ,data with ticktock this is referred to as capi
which is a partnership between shopify and the ,advertising platform click set up enter your final
details make sure you connect automatic payment ,click confirm and you should be ready to go now
to create tick-tock ads we're actually going to ,have to go back to the tick-tock ads manager so
we can go ads.tichtalk.com you can see that our ,ad account has already been created to make sure
that we do have the pixel set up properly what i ,do recommend is going to your website and just
like facebook there's something called tic toc ,pixel helper and it's a chrome extension that you
can download and check if your pixel is firing ,on your website if it's not you may need to go
and fix that initially just download the chrome ,extension and you can see that our tick tock pixel
is set up here shopify set it up for us and it ,should be firing this is a page view because we're
on a page when you add a product to cart it should ,fire the add to cart pixel or if someone purchases
you can test a purchase and it will also fire that ,pixel in the exact right way so now we're in
the tiktok ads account we can go ahead and ,create our first campaign campaign structures
are really important to talk about it's what ,separates good advertisers from bad advertisers
that alongside really effective marketing content ,the basic structure is you have a campaign which
is what objective you are striving for if you've ,got something like a real estate business
it might be leads you're trying to collect ,leads but we've got a e-commerce business
so we want to get purchases then you've ,got the ad set level which is basically the
targeting that you're setting up to complete ,that campaign objective then finally you've got
your ads that live within each of those ad sets ,these ads are different creative types that
you think are going to convert your customer ,so head to campaign when you're in campaign all

so whether you like it or not tic toc,ads have been crushing in the ecom space,lately with not only the paid marketing,side but also the organic side,especially with facebook bands getting,out of hand high cpms and high cost per,clicks tick-tock seems to be the,all-around solution and in this video,i'm going to show you exactly how i,start and run my tick tock ad campaigns,to get sales like you hear in the,background so over the past few months,i've generated quite a lot with tic toc,in terms of revenue and in profit and,this is just one of the stores i'm,currently running and you guys can see,the active visitors we have 1.1 k as,well as 30 000,in sales just for today and here's also,one of the other stores we did around,60k in november and going on into,december we pulled out around 130 000,and this was all about around a 30,margin overall so if you ask me that's,not bad at all this right here is the,store that i pulled off 30 000 just for,today's sales in and you guys can see,the tick tock ads manager we have quite,a lot of campaigns because this product,definitely is in the scaling phase but,putting all this aside let's get right,into the tutorial the first thing taken to a page that looks something,like this so right here you're just,going to fill out your business website,put in your address and all that,information that's going to ask you for,a credit card and all that but once,you're filling all that out you should,land on a page like this so this is an,existing ad account i have obviously,we're going to want to go ahead and,select conversions right here and then,for the campaign name you're going to,put whatever the product name is but i'm,just going to put one for the sake of,this video and then you don't want to,touch any of these these are for,different strategies and actually do use,these options but we're not going to do,that in this case specifically so we're,gonna hit continue right here and once,we are on this page the ad group name is,basically the interest name so whatever,you target let's say you target dog,owners or cat lovers you're gonna put,cat lovers or dog owners or whatever,interest you target but for tick tock,specifically i like to go broad so i'm,going to leave this as broad and then,i'll show you guys how to target,interests later down the line so for the,website we're going to want to create a,tick tock pixel i already have two,pixels right here but if you created a,new ad account you won't have a pixel so,we're going to want to create one and in,order to do that you just want to click,that button click set up web events or,create pixel tick tock pixel click next,and you want to name your pixel i'm,going to put three and then click this,second option right here click shopify,click next and you should be taken to a,different page where you're just going,to spam next a bunch of times so,complete setup and we should be good to,go now in order to install this you can,actually get an app called tick tock on,the shopify app store and then just,pretty much log in with your tick tock,account details now personally on some,of my stores i don't even install pixels,and i just go based off of different,metrics like the ctr cpm cost per click,but if you want to install a pixel you,guys can pretty much do it through,shopify or by installing it with code so,now once our pixel is set up you guys,can go back to the tick tock page right,here open this up and we have our third,pixel that we just created right here,for the optimization of that we want to,click complete payment we don't want any,other people who just go to our site to,add to cart or view the content we want,actual purchasers hence why we choose,this option right here now we want to,scroll down right here and click select,payments and uncheck these two random,ones i mean we don't need panel or news,feed app series we want tick tock that's,where the money is at at the end of the,day for user comments we're going to,turn this off and then for video,download we're going to turn this off as,well now for this option be aware people,can still download your videos so you,want to make sure that you add a,watermark on all your videos before,uploading them or creative type there is,some strategies i use which include this,checked but for this specific testing,strategy we're not going to have this,checked right to see if dropshipping,is still alive in 20 and 22. so on the,beginning of this year i decided to,devote most of my time and most of my,money into creating new stores to see,again if it's possible to make money,with drop shipping and to be honest with,you for the first seven months of my,journey i didn't win anything i've lost,over 18 000,probably tested 20 25 different products,nothing worked for actually,paid 50 for it on app work i found one,person who were was basically creating,those accounts and after he created that,account he didn't even needed my,telephone number or he didn't need us,telephone number for to create my,account so,that was pretty interesting to me,because most of gurus on youtube tell,you that you need to have us-based,telephone number and all those different,things to be able to create your account,all i needed to do is to have a vpn and,change my ip to us,and then,basically,go ahead with an email i had and i used,my uk uh telephone number and that,seemed to do the trick so,we're in my computer right now like i,said all you need is vpn and email,address that have not been used with,tiktok yet so,when it comes to vpn i'm using nordvpn,and fun fact you only need it when,creating an account now,after i create the account i've never,used this vpn to login into my account i,logged in from my normal usual,ip address from my internet provider and,i never had any issues so,even if you have to buy a paid version,of nordvpn i think it will cost you,under 10 dollars per month and you only,really need it once you don't need to,keep this subscription to keep logging,into your account so that's what i did,vpn is nord,vpn i'm connected to united states right,now so go ahead and create a new account,so what you need to do is to go to,ticktalk.com forward slash business it,will redirect you to us,page,but you have to have vpn,active and then basically click click on,create new account so this will take you,to a form that you need to fill out with,your details,and again make sure that you have an,email address that have not been used,with tick tock yet,okay so we're on the sign up page so,what you need to do is to just use your,email 123,gmail.com and then from here obviously,choose your password,and then click on send code and this,will send a verification code to this,email address that you have provided so,let's see,all right there's one more step the,verification to see if you're not a,robot,and that's it so let's go ahead,move on to my email and see if we will,received,email from tiktok there it is,go back here,paste,agree to their terms and conditions and,sign up,okay so us is where we want to target,the country that we want to target,industry obviously e-commerce you can,choose any sub-category in today I'm going to take you step by step,on being able to get your ads placed,onto Tick Tock so something just like,this where you can actually get a nice,Roi for doing some ads on the platform,now I'm gonna have a link for you in the,show notes down below to take you to the,page that looks just like this and once,you do you're going to click on the,start now button on the bottom left hand,side and right here you're going to see,it says create an Advertiser account you,can go by email or you can go by phone,number whichever way works best for you,so you're going to fill out the email,create a password confirm and then do a,validation make sure you have this,checked off here before we continue and,then we're going to click on the sign up,and we're going to jump to that next,screen all right so here it's going to,ask for some Billy information uh starts,off with the country it's going to ask,for the industry your business name time,zone your currency which is set to USD,and then a telephone number make sure,you have this clicked on here to be able,to agree to the terms and conditions,once we have all that filled out we're,going to hit submit so from here it's,going to say setup billing information,it's going to ask for our state and then,if we want to do automatic payments or,manual payments,we're gonna go ahead and do automatic,and click on go to add manager so here,this is actually going to take you to,the main page of your Tick Tock ad,management section you can see there's a,dashboard here get your campaign any,assets you need and then also reporting,uh you can simplify it if you want to as,far as your ads go or you can do,customization if you either do it,yourself or have other companies do the,ads for you as well you can also have,that linked up right there so you don't,keep having this pop up every time you,log into your stuff so let's go ahead,and click on simplify mode right over,here and here pretty much it's going to,go step by step on the process of what,your advertising goals are do you want,website visits Community interaction,generating uh customer leads or website,conversions so whichever option works,for you right now it's currently clicked,on website visits and then right here at,the bottom we can click on continue so,from here it's going to give you some,options as far as who sees your ads,obviously location you can customize,your audience you can do automatic ones,if you want to your demographics your,interests and behaviors and then where,you want your ads to be shown so you can,see right here it is Tick Tock of course,and then if we click on additional,placements there is one more on top of,that if everything looks good from here,then you can click on continue at the,bottom right once you have all that,filled out so from here you can see it,says set a budget based on your goals so,if you wanted to have a budget of let's,say 200 every single day that is going,to be that budget and then you can also,set a schedule for your ad campaign or,you can have it start now with no end,date I do recommend making sure you put,an end date on there and then you can,click on continue so from right over,here you can see you can actually post,with your Tick Tock account so if your,company already has a tick tock account,you can go ahead and log in through here,it'll make it a lot easier for you to go,through that process especially if you,have some advertisement videos on there,already that you can utilize you can,also post with your Tick Tock ad,management account right here you can go,ahead and upload your video you can see,a Max of 20 currently or you can also do,images and then on the right hand side,right over here this is going to be a,preview of what it's going to look like,for you when you go through that process,and have everything loaded once that's,all done there at the bottom here it is,going to have the submit button for you,so you can go ahead and have that ad go,ahead and start running on Tick Tock now,of course there's a few extra Little,Steps such as adding in your bank,information as well as possibly even,creating those extra assets and looking,at the reports like we talked about,earlier that are up on the top left hand,side there but in order to get started,I'm gonna have that link in the show,notes down below for you go ahead and,click on that and it'll take you right,to that beginning step um to go ahead,and create your Tick Tock ad manager,account

understand,that tick-tock is broken down into two,parts the initial test and the long-term,scaling the objective of this entire,process is to establish product or brand,dominance creating an illusionary viral,effect within the app this will be done,through the campaign setup and an,excessive amount of creative testing so,make sure you have several ad variations,ready to go for your product before you,even attempt this strategy so let's get,started with the campaign setup we're,inside the tick tock ads dashboard and,once we start creating a campaign we're,going to click on conversions now once,you get down here let's name this,campaign the way that we're going to,title this campaign is with the product,name the level that the campaign's at,which is cold the country that we're,targeting and of course the breakeven,roads of the product once we have that,all set up leave it as no budget and,we're going to go ahead and click,continue now once you get to the ad,group level what we want to do is we,want to put in the product name we're,going to come back to this after we,complete the setup so we're going to go,into website because that's where we're,trying to drive our traffic for the,ticktock pixel just make sure you have,yours active on your store and then for,the conversion event what we're going to,do is if it's for a product you're going,to optimize for complete payment but if,it's for a service you're going to,optimize for complete registration down,here for placements what we want to do,is select the placement and we're going,to only do the ticktalk app we're going,to go ahead and open up the advanced,settings and we're going to turn off,video download but we're going to leave,user comments on for the creative type,don't do automated creative we still,want to separate the creatives within,our ad groups because this is going to,allow us to see which one is actually,performing the best down under targeting,what we're going to do is we're going to,go to the country that we want to target,typically what i recommend doing is if,it's a service of course target the,country where you can actually provide,that service but if it's a product i,recommend doing either just the us or,u.s and canada so once that's all set up,what we're gonna do is select the gender,of our product or our service of course,a thumbtack is both male and female so,we would leave it as none and then for,the age group what i typically do is 25,to 55. i've tested these younger age,groups and just noticed that they tend,to not convert much but they suck a,ridiculous amount of budget from your,campaigns so i just go ahead and don't,target them for languages since it's,canada and the us we can just leave it,as no limit and then down here for the,targeting this is where we need to get,specific and a little bit creative so,when it comes to the targeting we have,our interests we have our behaviors and,then we have our behaviors based on,creator interaction what we want to do,is we want to identify an interest or a,behavior that's very specific to our,product or our service now down here,under interests or behaviors you're,going to see when you click into it,you're going to get a little drop down,like this so what we have is the main,category and then if you click the arrow,you get a sub category and then of,course you click again you get another,sub category what we're going to be,working with for our cold interest,targeting is we're going to be using the,main categories so it would be these,first ones so for a thumbtack let's say,we're going with an interest targeting,category i would say out of all these,categories the one that aligns the best,with the product would be household,products so we'll go ahead and we'll,select that now we don't want to combine,both of these but you will be testing,several of these to find your ideal,customer audience but what we're going,to do is we're going to start off with,one and then progress from there as we,go through this video so we've gone,ahead and selected an interest now what,we're going to do is go down to devices,and you're going to leave it as no limit,leave all that how it is and then down,here what we're going to do is we're,going to actually enable target,expansion now for enabling target,expansion we're going to only expand on,interests
