together and this ad over here,sent people to this,funnel okay so let's take a look at some,numbers,now that we understand the big picture,of the sales process,so on the screen you will see that hey welcome back into another video here,on the channel today,i'm going to be talking about what the,key differences are,between facebook ads tick tock ads the,platforms have,phenomenal differences between them,there's certain situations where you,could use both,but i want to outline the pros the cons,the differences and things that you're,aware of so you could,literally today go ahead and launch ads,on one of these platforms potentially,both if you know me if you follow the,channel for a while,you know that i always recommend,learning one thing first in an,advertising and marketing,world you are going to get the best,results when you dominate one platform,first the reason for that,is most paid ad platforms you know,outside of you know paying a youtube,influencer for a huge shout out,things like google ads facebook guys tic,toc anything like that where there's,pixels involved and it's data driven,if you can build a ton of data from tick,tock ads,and you also had your facebook and,google pixel on the store the whole time,well transitioning from tick tock to,facebook is going to be easy because you,already have,3 000 sales on the pixel season data,facebook knows who your customer is you,can build lookalike and retargeting,audiences right away,it's going to be an easy migration so,just keep that in mind really focusing,on one thing otherwise you kind of get,lost in the sauce as they say too,distracted now between the two platforms,there's huge differences number one,understand first and foremost that if,you go with facebook you will run into,problems with being disabled,for no reason restricted for no reason,and potentially banned,for no reason it got to the point where,about a year and a half ago i had to,start remote accessing other computers,on different servers,using dozens of other people's facebook,profiles across hundreds of different ad,accounts with multiple backup pixels on,everything,we're talking about an infrastructure,that costed about 65 000 to build,and about 15 000 a month to manage and,maintain,that's not advertising cost that is,structure cost,so that's what i had to do to get around,stuff because i was doing,nothing wrong i was selling stuff that,wasn't showing any skin,it wasn't remotely close to violin in a,policy but that's facebook for you it's,hard to explain and as someone who,you know if you don't run ads that might,sound crazy and weird to you but that is,truly just what the platform is be,prepared for a world of headaches,here's why facebook is a great option,though it's,really not that hard to master okay,excuse me there it's really not that,hard to make money with,anything like that is difficult to,master but it's a platform,that in my opinion is the lowest cost,to start if you want to start something,from scratch with tick tock ads or start,something from scratch with google,based on my experience it's going to,take you more money,to do that okay and there's certain,products on tick tock where it just,might pop off faster,but in my experience facebook at least,with the skills that i have is,pretty simple to get the ball rolling,with you know inside of our e-commerce,program we put a lot of attention on,facebook for a simple reason,any business owner that's getting,started you need cash flow,without cash flow your business can't,survive you need positive money coming,in,right total gross revenue expenses,there's your profit left you need a,profit margin with that you can now,venture into other things and it makes,making more money even easier because,now you can do all sorts of different,things that cost money,so facebook is probably going to be the,best option for you,if you are looking for extreme,consistency if you want to grow it,really slowly,and if you also want something that is,probably targeted towards a more,specific audience,and ideally an audience that's 35 years,old or older,that is the prime category my main brand,inside the health and orthopedic space,we service about 65 of our customers are,35 and above,the rest of those out of that 35,probably 25,of them are like probably 28 and above,so it's very,rare that they're in the 25 year old and,under,category it's very rare that that,happens and,this made tick tock ads not very,efficient because tick tock is just a,younger platform,that's all it is it's also a platform,that is very,general from an advertising perspective,so go go ahead open a business account,on tick tock,you can see it doesn't cost you anything,and you'll see instantly the similarity,how they literally ripped off facebook,and it's a it's a exact format copy,which makes it easy to run if you're,familiar with facebook but tick tock is,probably going to work the best for you,if you have a more,general viral organic type product you,know things that are,led light strips led light bulbs um,you're just crazy little phone cases,anything that can kind of go viral you,know like,the lighters that are electric and don't,use any gas or butane i sold like 600,grand

million monthly active users you can,easily scale to multiple seven figures,as well so this is going to be true for,the entire video,i first of all i'm going to share a lot,of stats and later my personal opinion,but we have to be careful with these,stats because it's easy to say ah,400 million monthly active uses is not,enough,which in reality it's more than enough,so next,tiktuk has average users spent,52 minutes each day on app on snapchat,it's roughly 30 and a bit,more the data was here wasn't as,accurate and on facebook it's,5 58 minutes and a tick tock 53,so pretty comparable and shouldn't make,too much of a difference,and tick tock which is really really,really interesting and a key benefit and,a key takeaway of this video is that,only five percent of marketers,are using tick tocks right now and 74,of marketers do not plan on using the,platform in the next year,some people might think well the,majority has to be right if so many,marketers don't utilize ticket against,probably a bad advertising platform or,you can see if so little marketers,actually utilize tik tok,that the price and cpms etc will be,insanely cheap,and there will be a lot less competition,on any other ad platform and this is,what we personally believe,tick tock is insanely powerful and,the reason in my opinion why so little,marketers actually utilize tick tock and,tick tock ads,is because it's new and we human in,general,always are a bit scared of new things,and obviously take is very new,it hasn't been rolled out yet for very,long there was this battle,axis for quite some time and now it's,roller to everybody,and it has some limitations of course,because it's new we will get into these,later on but overall i think this is a,major major benefit for tick to gets,so let's continue here with the,demographics so tick tock,has 100 million active users in the us,and here is the percentage of us-based,tick-tock,users by age so this is pretty important,because a,big misconception misconception is that,only very young people aren't,tick-to-man,while it's true that the average age is,a bit younger than from facebook for,example,we can clearly see that 16.4 percent of,ticking users are between 30 and 39,and roughly 14 are between 40 and 49.,so it's 100 wrong that only young people,are on tick tock but obviously,only seven percent are 50 plus for,example if you go on facebook,55 plus year olds are 31 so if your,target demographic is,older people so 50 plus then tick tock,also snapchat is probably not a good fit,for you but for everybody else,who doesn't sell products for elderly,people so who,for everybody who sells to young people,to middle aged 40,50 year olds tick tock and snapchat,works perfectly fine,if you continue to snapchat to 82,percent of targeting for you so before,we get into the comparison let's first,talk about keyword and placement,targeting and what they are so with,keyword targeting with youtube ads what,google does is google will show your ad,in front of videos that are related to,certain keywords it will find videos,related to that keyword by looking at,the title description the tags and other,metadata around the video,so what this means is if you're doing,keyword targeting and let's say your,target is something like how to run,youtube ads in 2021 if a video has a tag,how to run youtube ads in 2021 there's a,good chance it will show up right so,essentially what google will do with,keyboard targeting is show your ads in,front of those videos or it will show it,to a viewer after they've watched one of,those videos and in the next one or two,videos after that so that's how,sometimes you'll get these really random,placements when you are doing keyword,targeting is because so somebody just,watched a video that was related to your,keyword but then they're on the next,video and google shows the ad to them so,you will have that so with keyword,targeting it's not as precise as with,google search right with google search,you have these options of doing exact,match or broad match basically targeting,that allow your ad to be shown for,certain search terms with youtube it's a,lot more broader with keyword targeting,so keep that in mind now what's,placement targeting so with placement,targeting you're literally choosing that,you're going to show up in front of,certain videos or on certain websites,and you are choosing which websites to,show up on you can also target specific,display network placement so you can,show up on third-party websites right so,if you wanted to show up on let's say a,big news site you could actually do that,with display targeting as a lot of these,new sites are actually a part of,google's display network so let's talk,about the specific pros and cons of each,targeting type one of the pros of,placement targeting is that it's very,targeted you're controlling where your,ad is going to show up so you can target,the exact channels and videos you want,to and reach your ideal customers so you,can target competitors channels you can,even target your own channel you can,target videos about your niche so this,is great branding when you show up in,front of competitors videos it basically,shows that hey you're around and,what's the best place to advertise in,front of your competitors video ads now,what are the cons of placement targeting,it's very expensive often delivery is an,issue right so when you set up placement,campaigns you'll see that often they'll,have trouble spending just because the,placements aren't really going to get,the biggest volume unless you're,targeting really popular videos and,channels is a common issue i see where,placement campaigns are some of the,hardest to get to spend and the cost per,lead is high and the cost per sale can,be quite high as well because the cost,per thousand impressions can be very,high on these placements another big,drawback also is placement campaigns can,often work at a lower scale but they're,really hard to scale up now let's talk,about keyword targeting what do i like,about keyword targeting they're a lot,less expensive than placement targeting,but they're still quite high quality and,they're also scalable so you can get,leads at a great cost and you can even,get purchases at a great cost with,keyword targeting and the best part,about keyword targeting is they're,scalable we've been able to scale,keyword campaigns to thousands of,dollars a day so there are some,downsides to keyword targeting the first,is it's harder to control where your ads,are going to show up you may show up in,front of irrelevant videos you may show,up in random places,and sometimes the quality can be a bit,lower than placement targeting the,second con is that even though keyword,targeting is a very solid targeting,option we found in 2021 and 2022 that,it's not performing as well as it used,to a couple years ago keyword targeting,used to work really well in most,accounts now what we found is that,custom audiences or in-market audiences,often perform better than keyword,audiences so just keep that in mind that,it's not as good as it used to be but,it's still worth testing out and it,still can perform quite well so to give,you my final verdict i would suggest you,try both i personally prefer keyword,targeting because it's more scalable,there's more volume and it will spend,however if
