tick tock for business this is where you  ,need a new tick tock account already have a tick  tock business account you can just click connect  ,but today we're gonna have to create a brand new  one so i'm just gonna click create new at the top  ,enter my email address get the verification code  sent into the verification code here agree to  ,terms and conditions and just click sign up you  can click connect down the bottom right and that's  ,now created an ads manager business manager under  that email we can click create new ad account and  ,we can select the country and the currency that we  want to be built in this is generally the region  ,that you want to be targeting change the business  name to something a little bit simpler click sign  ,up and connect you'll come to this data sharing  section which we've touched on a few times in my  ,previous episodes just click enhanced or maximum  providing you've got the terms and conditions set  ,up for something and then click consumer spend  ,above youtube disney plus and netflix this  is probably the uh the biggest stat on this  ,screen ranking above youtube and netflix in  consumer spend is absolutely ridiculous so  ,it's a monumental opportunity for people and  businesses to sell their products on the platform  ,how many times have you spoken to someone they've  said ah i found that product on tick tock it's  ,happening a lot these days so let's jump on to how  you can actually make the most of that so this is  ,the tick tock ad structure so at the top we have  tick tocks ad manager then we have ad campaigns  ,we have ad groups we have ad creative and then  landing pages to break these down one by one tick  ,doc ads manager is where you manage your ticktock  advertising account similar to the facebook  ,ad manager now a ad campaign is the foundation  of your ad so we're setting up our advertising  ,objectives and formats we then have ad group which  is target audiences ad placements budget today I'm going to take you step by step,on being able to get your ads placed,onto Tick Tock so something just like,this where you can actually get a nice,Roi for doing some ads on the platform,now I'm gonna have a link for you in the,show notes down below to take you to the,page that looks just like this and once,you do you're going to click on the,start now button on the bottom left hand,side and right here you're going to see,it says create an Advertiser account you,can go by email or you can go by phone,number whichever way works best for you,so you're going to fill out the email,create a password confirm and then do a,validation make sure you have this,checked off here before we continue and,then we're going to click on the sign up,and we're going to jump to that next,screen all right so here it's going to,ask for some Billy information uh starts,off with the country it's going to ask,for the industry your business name time,zone your currency which is set to USD,and then a telephone number make sure,you have this clicked on here to be able,to agree to the terms and conditions,once we have all that filled out we're,going to hit submit so from here it's,going to say setup billing information,it's going to ask for our state and then,if we want to do automatic payments or,manual payments,we're gonna go ahead and do automatic,and click on go to add manager so here,this is actually going to take you to,the main page of your Tick Tock ad,management section you can see there's a,dashboard here get your campaign any,assets you need and then also reporting,uh you can simplify it if you want to as,far as your ads go or you can do,customization if you either do it,yourself or have other companies do the,ads for you as well you can also have,that linked up right there so you don't,keep having this pop up every time you,log into your stuff so let's go ahead,and click on simplify mode right over,here and here pretty much it's going to,go step by step on the process of what,your advertising goals are do you want,website visits Community interaction,generating uh customer leads or website,conversions so whichever option works,for you right now it's currently clicked,on website visits and then right here at,the bottom we can click on continue so,from here it's going to give you some,options as far as who sees your ads,obviously location you can customize,your audience you can do automatic ones,if you want to your demographics your,interests and behaviors and then where,you want your ads to be shown so you can,see right here it is Tick Tock of course,and then if we click on additional,placements there is one more on top of,that if everything looks good from here,then you can click on continue at the,bottom right once you have all that,filled out so from here you can see it,says set a budget based on your goals so,if you wanted to have a budget of let's,say 200 every single day that is going,to be that budget and then you can also,set a schedule for your ad campaign or,you can have it start now with no end,date I do recommend making sure you put,an end date on there and then you can,click on continue so from right over,here you can see you can actually post,with your Tick Tock account so if your,company already has a tick tock account,you can go ahead and log in through here,it'll make it a lot easier for you to go,through that process especially if you,have some advertisement videos on there,already that you can utilize you can,also post with your Tick Tock ad,management account right here you can go,ahead and upload your video you can see,a Max of 20 currently or you can also do,images and then on the right hand side,right over here this is going to be a,preview of what it's going to look like,for you when you go through that process,and have everything loaded once that's,all done there at the bottom here it is,going to have the submit button for you,so you can go ahead and have that ad go,ahead and start running on Tick Tock now,of course there's a few extra Little,Steps such as adding in your bank,information as well as possibly even,creating those extra assets and looking,at the reports like we talked about,earlier that are up on the top left hand,side there but in order to get started,I'm gonna have that link in the show,notes down below for you go ahead and,click on that and it'll take you right,to that beginning step um to go ahead,and create your Tick Tock ad manager,account

hey guys so i'm getting a lot of,questions on how to set up an ad account,and how to set up an agency account and,business center and issues with um ad,accounts not spending so i wanted to,just jump in here and give you guys a,brief overview of how to create if,you're running ads for clients or you,want to run ads for clients then what,you're going to need is this agency,business center account so it's very,similar to if you're familiar with,facebook at all it's very similar to the,business manager in facebook so for,example we use an agency business,manager,inside of our facebook account and with,that agency business manager,we request access we request partner,access to all of our clients ad accounts,so that means that we don't have to,create the ad accounts for them we don't,have to have ownership of the ad,accounts and if and when the,relationship um you know separates and,maybe they bring it in house or they,stop running ads they can just take all,the information and,they own that asset so it's very,important to have your own ad account,and if you and for your clients to have,their own ad accounts and,if you are an agency running ads for,clients you do not want to be creating,the ad accounts for them under your,business center um because as far as i,know you can only create one ad account,per business center that might change um,in the future it may have already,changed but i know for us we could only,create one ourselves so,what i did is i did a lot of research,because i was really confused about this,as well and i know friends of mine who,are facebook marketers by trade and now,getting into tick tock marketing are,having some issues with this too so i,kind of did like a deep dive one,afternoon to figure it out i watched a,lot of youtube videos and because they,have these the way that it's structured,is a little bit differently than um than,facebook because they have um a few,different like types of business center,accounts,and like one for solo businesses another,for agencies that are managing multiple,different accounts so this is,specifically for,agency business centers where you're,managing multiple different ad accounts,and you need to request access to those,accounts so you can manage them inside,of your business center so,um i have got the two articles that i,used to,walk myself step by step through the,setup process and then also walk my,clients through the setup process so,number one is going to be to create your,agency business center and the reason,again why you do this is because you,want to be able to manage your clients,campaigns but you don't want to have,ownership of their ad account so,you're going to,go through these steps i'll share the,article with this video,so we don't take up too much time here,but from your personal account you're,going to create your business account,and then once you've created your,business account,you're going to go through the steps of,requesting access to an ad account now,if you have a client that does not yet,have an ad account what you're going to,do is i'll share this article as well,but i recommend sharing this article,with your clients so that they can walk,through it on their own if they're tech,savvy my clients largely are not tech,savvy so i have to actually get on a,video call with them,and do a screen share and walk them,through all of this right so,um you want to start with them on a,screen share share this link right here,and have them create a page,or create their own uh,tiktok ad account,and they're going to have to go through,a whole process which includes getting,the,business account,set up getting it verified adding in all,of their information they're gonna have,to create a login with their email,address password,um they're going to need to enter their,business information they need to have,their legal information ready so they do,require an ein number i think it's just,the last four of like the social,security number or last four of the ein,number i don't remember,um,but they do need to include their,business information,and then they'll register,and um super important here once they,have their ad account set up they are,going to need to and once they've got,their their business information entered,they i recommend,having them verify their business,account it's the same with facebook,y'all if you don't verify the business,account you're going to run into issues,at some point down the line i guarantee,it so just have them verify the business,account again they're just going to have,to upload some official documents which,is fine it's easy they should have it,readily available on their computer um,and then most importantly have them add,their payment method because these ads,are being billed via tick tock to your,client you do not want to pay for ad,spend through your ad account,um at least i don't that's that's not,how i run my business and i don't,recommend it um because it's just example,so the next example with this one it's,also straight,pretty straightforward they have,literally just,shown their apparel products overlaid,with a popular song and they've added a,direct,call to action button as part of the ad,which i'll show you how to do,later in this tutorial they have a,buttload of likes,at 200k plus for this specific ad alone,which means they most likely,ran an engagement campaign on tick-tock,but the point here is you don't always,need to have a really fancy you know,dancing tick-tock video to succeed so,this is an example of an ad that works,and it's just a very,simple uh you know apparel video the,next one is,from nike this one's pretty interesting,have you watched this,you know ad loan by itself you're,probably going to wonder,how the heck is this working how does it,drive customers to,buy anything or do anything wouldn't,blame you but,what's going on here is also genius and,can drive virality the goal here is to,get,as many users to repost this as a duet,as you can see here they've reposted it,you know they've got some,engaging dancing going on more people,that repost this as a duet the more,eyeballs,that see this ad and the more
