all right so i've spent a lot of money,on facebook ads not quite as much on,tick tock but it's a platformer scaling,super heavily right now spending about,40 000 a day across a few different,brands now i want to actually show you,the sales here inside of one of these,stores i i've already shown this,once i believe depending on when this is,being posted so far almost like 3k today,this is actually like super upsetting,and i'm gonna break down why because,this store i'm gonna break this down and,show you a monthly chart here was doing,over ten thousand dollars a day and if,you're running tick tock ads this video,is for you i've noticed that tick tock,facebook never had this issue because,they just want to take your money tick,tock sometimes will randomly just stop,spending on your ads and i'm not talking,about when you're first launching you,have spending issues that's another,problem and by the way how you fix that,is just relaunch change the budgets a,little bit maybe go in and directly,change the budget open up your audiences,so they're targeting a bigger broader,audience,those are some things you can do but,here's the monthly view on this store so,i'm going to show you kind of why i'm,upset on this uh and what happened this,is the store that i'm doing a 45 day,challenge type deal on where i want to,scale it to 100 000 a day in 40 days so,we got a 10 000 a day like the first,like eight days which is great but you,can see it died yesterday right there,you can see today's sales so far um,yesterday was like a thousand bucks and,it was a thousand and sixty dollars,which is really upsetting because it,only spent a couple hundred dollars so,out of like the four thousand dollars a,day in ad spend that was scheduled it,only spent like four or five hundred so,the ad performance had dropped itself,and it stopped spending money now here's,how you solve that problem so far today,we are somewhat back on track they're,still not back to 100 spending we'll,probably do,five and a half k today 6k later in the,day is always the bigger sales volume,for this brand um and yes this is a,brand it's not drop shipped i'll talk,more about it in the next update by the,way drop drop a like if you like you,know simple little lower quality like,but just basic updates that are just,like open at all cause if you're having,this problem here's how you solve it,number one instantly instantly reach out,to tick tock support thankfully tick,tock has support unlike facebook that is,absolutely terrible so i reached out to,support multiple times multiple tickets,dumping it in if you have a rep this,account has not been assigned an,advertising rep yet if you have a,representative's contact info blow them,up not like in a rude way but you know,very strict and then stern and just,seriously hit them up and get the,problem solved every single time this,happened to me twice so i have two,points of data for this,every time they're going to say there is,no problem there's no problem with your,ads oh maybe you should try this,optimizing performance thing maybe you,should try opening up your audience oh,you got too many ad groups inside your,campaign i told a person i'm like,there's no problem with having 15 ad,groups in a campaign,what and they're just being idiots for,lack of better terms and,it's really frustrating they're gonna,continue telling me there's no problems,but about on that second day when they,reply,suddenly the spend starts coming back so,it looks like they do some sort of,internal review or something happens,they'll never admit it is what i think,but reach out to support and one thing i,also do i go and i change some budgets i,turn off a bunch of stuff and i launch,new stuff inside of a new campaign so,that's how i try to get some spending,back on track again today so far i'll,turn the brightness down so it'll focus,on a little bit easier here,you can see today should do probably i'd,say five let me focus this in here again,later in the day is always the bigger,sales volume but uh you know decent,consistency and the margin is not as,good so it's just like what used to,happen on facebook or facebook would,disable your ad account a few days later,this is i think it's the same thing,they're ripping facebook off a few days,later facebook would re-enable your ad,account and guess what happened it would,always get re-enabled at like nine,o'clock ten o'clock at night spend,through your full budget so for me it's,been like thirty thousand dollars and,the results wouldn't be the eighty,thousand i'm used to it'd be like twenty,or thirty thousand so it actually lose,like fifteen thousand dollars that's the,same thing that's happening today today,the spend is back but it's spent about,three thousand dollars doing three,thousand in sales so probably lost 800,bucks so we'll see what happens later in,the day it might dilute out because it's,usually a better sales time to cover that exact,solution,what's up y'all it's chase chapel here,and it's your favorite digital marketer,where we cover tick tock ads and,facebook ad strategies and i'm going to,be showing you today exactly how you can,get your tick tock ads to start,delivering a lot of you might think that,you set up the perfect campaign did all,of the right steps but come to find out,your ads just aren't spending and you,want them to deliver so that way you can,start to get sales and i keep getting,this question through instagram and my,dms at real chase chapel where y'all are,asking why your ads aren't delivering so,without further ado let's go ahead and,jump into it alright so what you're,going to do is you're going to jump into,your tick tock ads manager and we're,going to go through and create a,campaign so that way we can make sure,you did all of the correct steps so that,way your ads can start delivering and,we're going to troubleshoot why your ads,might not be delivering so that way you,can get them to deliver and achieve,sales first thing we're going to do is,hit the create button and this is going,to create a campaign,and we're going to go ahead and,select a conversions campaign if you're,optimizing for purchases this is what,you would do and then we're going to go,ahead and hit continue and if you're,using an actual tick tock pixel you're,going to want to make sure you have one,set up because you're going to need to,make sure it's active if you have an,inactive pixel with no recent activity,that is one reason your ads might not be,delivering so first you want to make,sure you have an active,tick-tock pixel and if you use shopify,you'll use the shopify integration to,integrate that if you use another,website see if tic-tac actually allows,you to integrate so that way you can,make sure your pixel is active once your,pixel is active you want to make sure,you choose an optimization event it's,important to choose an optimization,event because this is what you're going,to be optimizing for to get results so,if you want purchases then you're going,to want to optimize for purchases now an,important play here is,sometimes people are going to recommend,you to if you're not getting delivery,they might say well rather than just,optimizing for complete payment which is,purchases you should optimize for add to,cart because you can get those events i,wouldn't follow that advice that is just,so not true if you want purchases you,need to optimize for purchases the last,thing you need is to be optimizing for,add to carts and getting that exact,thing and not actually seeing sales from,your results just because your ads might,deliver with add to carts doesn't mean,you should be doing so because you can,guarantee your ads will deliver by,choosing complete payment if you know,exactly how to create a tick tock ad,that actually converts and that will,allow you to get delivery so if you,truly do want purchases make sure to,choose complete payment because you,don't want to choose any other event if,you're already going to be optimizing,for sales,the next thing is you're going to select,the placements,and you're going to want to this actual issue we get this,comment all the time and so many people,DM us on Instagram at real Chase Chapel,asking how can we get our Tick Tock ads,to spend we've done everything we've,tried everything what is it that's not,making it actually spin so let's go,ahead and break down those exact things,you need to know that way you can,actually get your Tick Tock ads to spin,and start converting because we all know,Tick Tock has a huge opportunity as a,platform to generate sales and results,for your brand or business alright so if,your Tick Tock ads are not spending,here's what we're gonna do we're gonna,break down the eight things that you can,start trying out to see if your Tick,Tock ads will spend the first one which,is the most obvious one is increasing,your budget sometimes your budgets are,set too low if there are 20 daily and,you sell a product that's say 60 or 100,Tick Tock will automatically scan your,web page and know that maybe it can't,spend you know twenty dollars a day and,expect to get you a result so it's going,to want you to spend more than what your,actual product cost is in some cases so,the first thing to try is actually,double your budget ad,group 30 on the next one forty dollars,fifty dollars sixty dollars and this is,going to basically show you what spin,level you need to be at initially to get,the ads to spend sometimes twenty,dollars doesn't work sometimes forty,dollars doesn't work it's usually maybe,fifty dollars that actually gets the ads,to start spending so you staircase your,spin to identify where your spend is and,once it's actually starting to spin,you'll know what ad group budgets you,need to set going forward initially when,you're launching your ads so that way,you can get the delivery to happen with,your actual spending the third thing is,actually having two create natives in,your ad group sometimes a lot of people,add like five ten different ads and you,know that's okay to do on Facebook ads,because the system's pretty optimized,they'll know how to deliver the spin,between the different creatives to find,out what's working Tick Tock isn't yet,that efficient and if you have too many,creatives in there with a very small,budget it's not going to spend at all if,you launch Five ads and you only have 20,daily it's gonna be have a very hard,time of spending whereas if you have two,actual ad creatives you're going to be,more likely to actually get spend,delivery because the system only has to,optimize between two different ads to,find results for you now the second,thing here is sometimes people have two,ads and it won't deliver or they'll only,have one a good strategy is to have a,one ad that's actually a spark ad which,means it's been an authorized post from,an influencer or it's an authorized post,from your actual page,the second one is a non-you know,authorized post which is just you,uploading the content into Tick Tock ads,directly and having that as an ad as,well where you write the copy and you,actually put in the custom link and,everything there this is a strategy that,allows you to actually see if you'll get,delivery based off spark or non-spark we,see this work a lot of times when you,know Brands actually make these,adjustments go down to two creatives per,ad group and have one creative where,they actually wrote the custom copy the,second one an authorization post from,either influence or other page you'll,start to see delivery and number four is,switching from purchase conversions down,to add to cart and letting that run for,two to three days if you're not getting,any delivery even after making those,adjustments so far switch to add to cart,give it two to three days and see if,your spin starts to go through and if it,does great you can switch back to,purchase conversions after a few days,and your spin delivery should start to,actually start performing and number,five make sure you have all of the,placements turned off besides Tick Tock,you want to have Tick Tock ads as the,only placement because if you're running,an actual creative that doesn't fit the,other you know platform Replacements,it's not going to deliver hey guys welcome to the channel in,today's video i'm going to show you how,to get your tik-tok cats to start,spending when they're not spending the,budget that you want them to before we,get into the things that you can try first and,foremost and that's the basic thing that,you can try because the easiest one to,do is and this is especially useful if,you haven't used your ad account before,sometimes you need to get your ad,account running before you get straight,into your conversions traffic for,complete payment so instead of going for,complete payment right away you create a,campaign and you set it to either,traffic or add to cart objective and you,let it run spending about 20 to 30,dollars for a day or two and that should,be enough if you've done that before and,that didn't work there's two more things,that you can try first one is to change,your pixel and force your ad group to go,back into the learning phase when,tick-tock goes into the learning phase,it distributes your ads at a cheaper,cost and a wider scope because it wants,to rush into finding your perfect,audience and optimize for that audience,so if you force your ad group back into,the learning phase there is a chance,that the ads that we're not being,distributed because of your bid being,insufficient will start getting,distributed so let's hop into the,computer and i'll show you how to do,that if you're in your shopify account,and you have your tik tok sales channel,set up here the only thing that you need,to do is you go to your overview and,then you go to the tick tock marketing,settings this particular store is not,connected to any tick tock account so,there's no information here but when you,go here you will see the pixel settings,for your integration once you get to the,pixel settings make sure to create a new,pixel apply that pixel and you're pretty,much good to go on this side the next,thing you need to do is use that pixel,in your tiktok ads manager so quickly,hopping over to the ads manager here the,only thing that you need to do is,replace your tik-tok pixel here with,your new pixel try your complete payment,as the optimization event and see how,that goes remember to give it at least,one or two days because tick-tock ads,can be slow to start running sometimes,so don't rush into making decisions give,it a day or two and if it still is not,spinning then move on to the next method,so the next method is fairly obvious if,your tick-tock ads are not spending it's,probably because your bid is,insufficient so you want to increase,your bid the problem is that you might,want to increase your bid but you might,be scared of it going over your budget,and spending too much money so there's,two ways that you can increase your bid,the first one is of course just,increasing the bid looking at your,shopify traffic monitoring your shopify,traffic in real time doing the math,seeing about how much you've spent to a,certain point and when you think that,you've spent your budget you turn off,the campaign make sure to monitor this,from your shopify traffic though not the,ads manager because the azure manager,takes a while to update and by the time,that the ads manager reflects the amount,that you wanted to spend you will,already have spent a lot more money of,course this method is far from ideal,it's manual labor you have to sit there,you have to monitor things and it might,not even work correctly you might end up,overspending because you miscalculate,the volume of traffic and the,corresponding cost so there is a way,that you can actually trick tick tock,into thinking that it has more money to,spend than it actually has thus,increasing the bid without risking you,going over budget so let's hop into the,ads manager again and i'll show you,exactly how to do that to do that you,want to come to the campaign settings on,tick tock here,you want to set up your campaign and you,want to scroll down here where it says,budget morning to our ads not spending,we have to solve this problem so we have,observed numerous problems and numerous,solutions in the past with tick-tock ads,not spending it honestly seems to be a,recurring theme with tick-tock maybe,they just don't like to spend maybe they,just don't want our money well it's,probably not the case but there are,glitches and things that happen with the,optimization and whatever that causes,them not to spend,but the new reason and,i hate that i have to admit this and i i,think it's really really stupid and i,don't want to go this direction because,we went this direction with facebook in,the past not in the right way and okay,i'll just shut up and say it pixel,optimization i believe is the reason,that tick tock ads are not spending at,least right now,i think before we ran into issues such,as manual bidding um you just basically,switched it to lowest cost and all of,our problems went away well that doesn't,necessarily work every time anymore,and now i think the problem is more due,to simple pixel optimization which,honestly this really pisses me off and i,hate that i have to recommend this,solution to you guys but i have the,solution and it probably will work so,pay attention the reason i say i hate,this solution and i hate that i have to,recommend it to you is because you know,that as a part of my religion always,optimize for what you want to get we'll,get into this a little bit later there's,one more solution that we'll also talk,about here that is pretty funny um but,in this video i am going to recommend,you to optimize for something other than,purchases okay it's the only video where,i'll ever do this right it's against my,religion and it feels so illegal to even,recommend to optimize for up like most of the time and,honestly we have tested this,if you let your campaign just sit there,for a day or two,the chances of it actually spending are,pretty high and this could happen on day,one day two day three day four but the,question is is it worth you know waiting,two days just to see if your campaign is,gonna spend and my obvious answer is no,like that you shouldn't be sitting,around waiting to see if your ads are,going to spend you should be doing,things to fix the problem not waiting to,see if the problem fixes itself and to,be honest most of the time,at least sometimes the problem does fix,itself but don't just sit on your ass,and let your campaign sit there okay,because we have a real solution that you,can take action on right now that should,get your ads to spend in what's up everyone welcome to the,Surfside PPC YouTube channel today I'm,going to be going over ad scheduling,with Google ads I'm going to show you,how to set an ad schedule for an,existing campaign now if you're running,a campaign for a small business that's,only open during certain hours for,example I run ads for a dentist now the,dentist is open Monday through Friday,from 8 A.M to 5 p.m and then they,actually have limited hours on Saturday,they're not open on Sunday so with the,way their campaigns are set up what they,told me when I took them on as a client,is they only want to run ads during,their business hours with one hour,windows on each side so what they do is,they run ads for a limited period of,time on Saturdays but for Monday through,Friday what they've done is they've set,an ad schedule from 7am to 6 p.m because,they say there's usually someone in the,office at those hours to answer a phone,call to answer any messages that may,come in so when they're running,advertisements they want to make sure,that somebody is there to take the call,to answer any messages that may come,through Peru for a new potential patient,for their business so what we can do is,let's say we open up our existing search,campaign and we have all of our ad,groups here we scroll down here on the,left now what you may need to do is,click on show more so on the left hand,side you're going to see show more down,here so we can click on show more we,come down you're going to see ad,schedule so here with ad schedule you,can look how your ad is performing on,specific days specific hours so if we,look at days we're looking at our,all-time data you could see the majority,of my clicks come in on Sunday but it's,pretty even for the most part for most,days and this lines up with my search,engine traffic as well for this so there,are more available Impressions on,Saturdays and Sundays more people are,looking for Farmhouse Decor on those,days so you can look at your overall,performance by day by hour you could,look by day and hour to try to figure,out if you can see okay at these certain,times they help me drive the most,conversions so what you can do is you,can set an ad schedule so if we click,here for ad schedule you're going to see,mine your ads are eligible to show all,the time so if we come down here and we,click on edit ad schedule what we can do,is we can say okay we want to run,Mondays through Fridays we want to run,Saturdays and Sundays we want to run on,Mondays Tuesdays when so you can,customize your ad schedule however you,want to so let's say for example I want,to run Monday through Friday and let's,come here we want to start our ads at 7,A.M and let's say we want to run them,until 6 PM so we're going to scroll down,here find 6 p.m so now we have our ads,running Mondays through Fridays 7 A.M to,6 p.m if we click on Save that's when,our advertisements are going to run now,we can do is we can click add here and,we can say okay we also want to run them,Saturdays and Sundays and for Saturdays,and Sundays we want to go 7 A.M just,until 2 pm so we have 7 A.M to 2 p.m so,let's just assume those are our office,hours during those days so we want to,make sure there's somebody in the office,to be able to answer the phone to be,answer any messages that may come,through so we have Mondays through,Friday 7 A.M to 6 p.m Saturdays and,Sundays 7 A.M to 2PM we click on Save,and it's that easy to set up an ad,schedule and now you can see this is,when our advertisements are going to run,and we can edit our ad schedule at any,time so you can add different things,here even though I have all the days,accounted for what I could do is do each,day individually so you could say Okay I,want Mondays I want to run full on,Mondays on Tuesdays I want to start my,ads at let's just say 7am on Wednesdays,we want to set our ads starting at let's,say 1am and we want to end them at 6 p.m,okay so then we would have Mondays,Tuesdays and Wednesdays we have this ad,schedule here we click on Save now these,are the only three time periods that our,ads are going to run so if you do it,that way then what you need to do is,make sure you set this for every single,day so if we come over here what you're,going to have to do is if you have a,custom ad schedule for Mondays Tuesdays,and Wednesdays then if we click on ADD,here you can't do all days anymore you,can't do Mondays through Fridays you can,have overlapping ad schedules so you're,gonna have to set individual ad settings,for Thursday you have to set individual,ad settings for Fridays and we're gonna,have to set individual ad schedules for,let's say Saturdays and Sundays and,maybe on these days we want to start our,ads at 8 am so if we click on Save it's,going to be pretty funny looking,schedule but you can see we have all day,Monday we're limited on Tuesday we have,different hours on Wednesday all day,Thursday all day Friday and then,Saturday and Sunday we go from 8 AM
