so Tick Tock has a pretty confusing way,that it goes about bidding and billing,this basically leads people to use the,wrong bidding goals and optimization,objectives and ultimately leads people,to wasting a lot more money than they,need to don't worry my name is Neil and,in this video I'm going to be breaking,down all of the different bidding,options that Tick Tock has available and,basically telling you what are the best,situations and when you should use each,now before we jump into the video I,would love if you could help the YouTube,algorithm by liking this video it really,would mean a lot to us it allows us to,continue putting out lots of educational,content about Tick Tock ads right here,on YouTube completely for free all right,what you need to know is that there are,four primary bidding methods on Tick,Tock in that you can further optimize,those bidding methods with three,specific bidding strategies don't worry,I'll explain all of them in detail let's,cover the four bidding methods to start,off with well the first one that you,have is CPM now if you've run ads on any,other platform you know what this is,cost per mile or cost per thousand,impressions essentially what this,bidding method is is the bid that you're,willing or the price that you're willing,to pay for a thousand Impressions on the,platform so you can essentially go to,tick tock and say hey Tick Tock I'm,essentially willing to pay twenty,dollars for you to show this ad and for,a thousand Impressions based on my,targeting options now you have to keep,in mind that this bidding method does,not have any optimization other than,what you pick in terms of your targeting,that means Tick Tock is basically just,going out there and trying to get as,many impressions for your budget as,possible and because there's no,optimization meaning tick tock's not,really going out to get conversions all,it cares about is Impressions and,because of this this bidding method is,pretty limited even in its use cases,this bidding method is actually only,available with one campaign objective,which is reach so the only time that I,recommend that you even use this bidding,method is if you are doing remarketing,campaigns and you're combining this,campaign with a region objective that's,probably the only time that I would even,mess around with it however as you will,find out in the rest of the video there,are a lot more cost effective bidding,methods that you should be employing,with your ad strategy hey guys before we,continue with the video I quickly do,want to take a second to talk about,today's video sponsor which is me more,specifically The Tick Tock ads,masterclass that I put together now a,lot of you already know this but Tick,Tock ads are the hottest thing in,advertising right now and rightfully so,I would kind of compare them to say,Facebook ads in 2015 2016. they're that,good so I put together this master class,which is designed to bring anyone up to,speed and set them up for success with,Tick Tock ads and right now you can take,advantage of our special introductory,launch pricing and get the master class,at a massive discount if you are,interested check the link in the,description below and with that let's,jump back into the video the second,bidding method that I want to cover is,ocpm now the name might be similar to,CPM however I want to make a distinction,ocpm or optimized CPM bidding is kind of,like CPM bidding but with a big caveat,so with ocpm your bid represents the,price that you're willing to pay for a,thousand Impressions with the caveat,that you're only targeting people that,are more likely to cause a conversion,event so yes you are being built on a,cost per thousand impression model,however the optimization here allows you,to actually go after a audience that is,most likely to convert so if again if,you have run campaigns on other,platforms think of this as tick tocks,version of a Target CPA campaign or a,conversions campaign now for most of you,that are running Tick Tock ads this is,going to be the default bidding method,for most of your campaign objectives,including conversions and for most of,you watching this what we recommend is,that you use this campaign objective if,you have a lot of account data and you,are seeing conversions come in because,the optimization will help you get a,cheaper cost per conversion the third,bidding method that I want to cover is,cpv now similar to say you YouTube ads,this is the cost per view bidding method,basically this is the price that you're,willing to pay for a single View and,what Tick Tock counts as a view is,longer than six seconds of a tick tock,reel however if your Tick Tock video is,less than 30 seconds long a view is,counted as if someone watches the entire,duration of that video so if your video,is say 20 seconds long a view is only,going to be counted if the person,watches all 20 seconds or if the person,watching your Tick Tock video interacts,with it whatever comes first either them,completing the number

of,the overarching uh aspect of this video,is gonna be how to spy on your,competition if you own an ecommerce,brand right if you're in the e-commerce,space at all this video is going to be,perfect for you because like i said,we're going to be covering exactly how,to find out what ads your competitors,are using right now what creatives,they're using what ad copy they're,testing out a million other things and,i'm going to show you how to do this on,two different platforms facebook as well,as tick tock i hope you guys like the,new agency sign in the background i'm,actually going to be moving to a new,apartment with my girlfriend by the,beginning of april mid-april so we'll be,in a bit of a different office setup in,the next few months probably in the next,video knowing uh that i'm uploading,these usually once a month at this point,because we're just so busy but,regardless let's hop on into the video,and i'll see you guys into the computer,now we're on to the what's called the,facebook ad library if you go ahead and,search this up this is obviously native,to facebook you can go ahead and find,this on google anyone can access this,it's totally free but there's a lot of,different things that you can do within,the ad library and it's really cool,really really useful in terms of like i,said finding what ads people are using,what content what ad copy and a ton of a,ton of different things as well so let's,go ahead and start things off guys if,you go ahead and just search up the,facebook ad library or the meta ad,library as things are now what's gonna,happen is you're gonna bring you it's,gonna bring you to this page it's gonna,look something like this it's gonna have,your default country here and add,category now you obviously can go ahead,and look by your individual country,right and find out what ads are being,ran here but just to be safe i think the,best thing to do guys is always just,switch this to all countries and then,add categories so facebook sort of,switches categorizes their ads by two,different ad categories right and,there's actually a few other ones but,listed here they're all sort of listed,into two different sections right that's,gonna be all ads every single ad that,there can be and then just issues,elections or political types of,advertisement so obviously we're gonna,go ahead and switch to all ads here it's,gonna actually sort of reload the page,if you guys don't notice that and then,two things here you're gonna notice it,says you can search by keyword or search,by advertiser this is really really cool,and really important because it actually,has a ton a ton of benefits in terms of,what you're looking for and what you can,actually find within the ads manager so,if i wanted to just go ahead and search,up any keyword here i have skin scrub if,we were working with a few skin care,brands you can see if i just search up,skin right it's going to give us a few,more examples of advertisers but it's,going to give us generally just a few,that facebook chooses chooses rather and,you can go ahead and click on them and,see all of the different ads that an,individual brand is running right so,kylie skin you can see they're running,upwards of 110 individual ads they're,definitely spending quite a large budget,i would say you know upwards of probably,six figures a month on advertising and,then what's really cool here guys is you,can see all of the individual ads that,they're running the creatives right the,videos right you can see what sales they,have going on so this is awesome right,and just like as a tip as a consumer i,do this all the time which is funny,because you know during black friday,cyber monday that you know any sale,christmas whatever if you're you know,you have your favorite brands and maybe,you didn't get their email or you,haven't seen what sale they have going,on particularly you can go ahead and,search up in the ad library their brand,find out exactly what ads are running,find their best sale and just go ahead,and use the code that way uh something,really cool as a consumer but this is,really awesome from an advertiser's,perspective or a brand owner's,perspective because you can see exactly,what these bigger brands are doing in,terms of what type of content are they,using right some not necessarily user,generated content here but could set up the payment later,i guess you can't so pretty much enter,your,address here,okay agency again this stuff doesn't,really matter all right now when you're,here it's telling you to create an ad,that away but we don't want to do that,we created we want to create a pixel so,on to section two of the video,all right so section two is creating a,pixel what a pixel is it pretty much,tracks when somebody converts,and it tells tik tok hey the person that,clicked this ad converted right you know,submitted the form and so now tick tock,understands you know which ad had a,conversion that way you know which ad,works best so in simplified terms so,we're going to go to assets and then hit,events,and then web events manage,and then create pixel,so this is going to be a little bit more,technical so i want you guys to follow,closely um but again it's still pretty,simple so select tick tock pixel next,um,you want to do manual install code now,we can do you know,sam's pixel,next,next you wanna do standard mode,create,all right,so copying the pixel code we'll get to,this later in another section so right,now we just want to create the pixel,right,so,you know we'll have advanced matching,so platform,you will not be able to see the ads,that's currently running for a specific,page or,profile or anything like that unlike the,facebook ad library,on tech talk ad library you will be able,to see all the,ad set that's currently running for a,particular niche,not the profile or a page and you can,filter out this ad set,by the click through or the view rate,and also filter out the ad set,by the niche for example you will be,able to see all the ad set that's,currently,running for clothing or technology or,markov chain,or whatever your niche is and the next,best option,in this ad library for tech talk is you,will be able to see the ad set that's,currently running for a specific country,yes you will be able to see all the,advertisements that's running,in australia or canada or united states,or wherever your niche is and this is,really cool right and without any more,checking,let's get to it so just scroll down,description box and you will see for the,link for the ad library for tech talk,and after you did access it you should,see this page right here and by the way,make sure to log in to an account and i,wasn't able to login into,this platform through my tech talk,account i all the,countries are available,in this platform i guess they only pick,the country where tech talk is famous in,so right now pick the country that's the,best for your niche,whether it's australia or canada or,wherever you're niche in,so for this demonstration to have more,options i'm going to keep it blank,and by the way if you do want to search,on all worldwide on all countries,just keep it like that do not select any,country,and on the right of the option you,should see industry here click on it,and you will see a bunch of options here,just like you see right now,as you can see the first one electric,appliances agriculture automotive,chemistry areas says closing here,accessories i'm going to click close,pick a clock chain accessories and by,the way you can pick multiple options,just like you see right now in my case,i'm going to go just for a,clutching and accessories and after that,you see this option right here it says,seven days time frame,what this option means basically is the,ads that's currently running,in the specific time frame if we did,pick seven days that means they will,show us,the ad set that was running or was,running,in the last seven days so as i said you,have more options for this demonstration,i'm going to go for 30 days frame and,after that the option on the right of it,it says search by and this is really,cool option,none of those platforms has it yet just,click on it and you will see,sit there impressions and six seconds,video,view rate so the first one means click,through,so for example if the ad has a click,through of 15,that means that 150 percent out of,1000 viewers they do click it on the ad,set,and that's really cool right if you do,have a click through of 15,that means that people are really,interested in that ad set and they do,click on it,and the option below it is impressions,and this option it basically will filter,out all the ad set,based on the impressions that each ad,set has,and i don't recommend to go for this,because if the advertisements have,more impressions or viewers it doesn't,mean that,it's actually successful and the last,one which is six seconds video view rate,which means if the viewer
