my,results after using this brand new,feature with two different videos so i'm,gonna tell you whether or not it's,actually worth it to use this feature,if you want to get more followers and,more views build a following tick,tock is definitely,one of the fastest ways to do that and,the main reason why this is happening,you're seeing people,come out of nowhere basically have a,million followers on tech talk in a,matter of a few months,and that's mainly because of the,algorithm that tech talk is using to,push your videos organically and in a,nutshell this is how it works you,publish a video on tick tock even if you,don't have any followers whatsoever,and tick tock will promote that video to,a small group of people,then tick tock will start tracking your,watch time how many people are sharing,the video,liking and engaging with the video if,you're getting an above,average engagement on that video most,likely tiktaa will take that video and,promote it to a bigger,audience and so they test your videos,with multiple audience,little by little to see how they respond,if the video continues to perform well,then they'll promote it to a lot of,people and this is why the more you post,on tech talk the more videos you upload,on a daily or weekly basis the more,chances you have of going,viral but let's say you're trying to,grow your profile you're not actually,growing,as fast as you want it and you want to,use this promote feature to get more,followers,or get more views for your videos well,i'm going to give you the results of my,own case study,of my own account that i've been testing,this on so you can see,whether or not it's actually worth it,and of course this is definitely,different for everyone it just depends,on the type of videos you're promoting,depends on the audience but i just want,to show you my results,from what i did and i'm going to break,it all down for you so you can see,for yourself what happens when you use,this promote feature,okay so the first thing you want to do,is you want to go to your account,and you're going to tap on this three,little dots right here on the top and,then what you're gonna do,is go to creator tools and click on,promote this is gonna show you,all the videos that you can use to,promote,using this new feature now keep in mind,that if a video has,copyrighted music or something like that,tick tock it's not going to let you,promote it,if you want to use a video that you want,to promote,and get more followers more views make,sure that it doesn't have any trending,sounds or music,because that could definitely limit and,and can definitely block you from using,this feature,so as you can see i have a list of,videos here that i can promote,and all i have to do is simply click on,promote,and what's gonna happen is tick tock is,gonna ask me okay what you want you,wanna get more views more website visits,or,more followers and you go through the,different steps and basically once you,select what you want click on next and,you can let,up tech talk choose the automatic,audience they'll promote it to whoever,they think,will watch your video or you can select,a custom audience,you can select you know i just want to i,just want to promote this video to,only men uh in this specific category,and that's going to give you a little,bit more flexibility,in the type of audience you want for,your video now if you don't want to do,that,all you have to do is click on next and,then you can choose,how many coins per day you want to spend,now in this specific case because i'm,using the tick tock app,uh you can basically recharge your,account or,buy coins through the app store,basically and once you do that you,simply click next and it will go through,a review process to see if it qualifies,for this promotion so i want to show you,the first video that i promoted and,what were the results with that video so,the first thing i did,is i selected my goal as more followers,i wanted more followers,for my page then what i did is i let,tech talk decide,what was the best audience so i chose,automatic i didn't want to choose a,custom audience i just wanted to see,what happened,as you can see i spent about 20 bucks to,buy,up the coins with tick

be,covering the top five ways you can learn,from the lessons that i have after,spending six hundred thousand dollars on,tick tock ads,hello everyone my name is chase chapel,your favorite digital marketer here,let's get into this video so these are,the lessons from spending 600 000,dollars in tick tock ads and i would,have been far better off if i had,already learned these lessons in advance,or had somebody to really guide me,through the process of understanding,what it is that make tick tock ads,convert how to structure the audiences,and all of the learnings that we've had,from other platforms to be able to be,successful on tick tock ads and that's,exactly what i'm going to be doing today,is i'm going to be walking you through,the top five things that are going to,allow you to be successful with tick,tock ads from the things that we've done,after spending 600 000 on tick tock ads,so let's go ahead and jump into the,first thing and start covering some of,the things you impressions from that,amount of spending about 2 million,clicks overall and so let's go ahead and,go over the tick tock adds creative best,practices so number one is videos with a,duration of 21 seconds to 34 seconds,have a 280 percent lift and conversion,yes you heard that right 21 seconds to,34 seconds if you literally just have,tick tock ads that are at least 21 to 34,seconds long,you automatically have a competitive,advantage over other tick tock,advertisers and the reason for this lift,and conversions is because that's enough,time for you to deliver information in a,concise way to the actual consumer that,might be purchasing your product or the,business that might actually be you know,choosing to work with your service and,you want to time it between 21 to 34,seconds you don't want it to be overly,long you don't want it to be overly,short,so definitely try to be within this,range because you are going to see much,better conversions by doing so and this,is data that ticktalk actually has from,you know hundreds of thousands of,advertisers that are actually already on,the platform and we're seeing this with,our results too videos that are between,21 to 34 seconds do actually convert,better,and we also see that the 9 16 aspect,ratio does help with lifting conversions,that is vertical video y'all you'll want,to make sure you have vertical video you,don't want to try to apply square video,and have these black spaces in between,the actual video you want to make sure,that these videos are actually vertical,tick tock is a vertical placement so you,want to make sure your content actually,fits for tick tock so make sure you have,a 9x16 aspect ratio in your actual,videos that is simply filming on your,phone that's the best way to do it to,actually keep the vertical video in,check and that resolution is actually,going to be higher and that actually,leads us to the next point if your video,is actually above 720p you're going to,see a 312 lifting conversion so if you,just apply these three things you're,going to see you know 280 lift and 91,left and even up to a 312 percent lift,in conversions by having hd video if you,upload a very low quality video the back,door is this you're likely going to get,much less conversions than other,accounts would and if you have ads that,are actually converting now with a low,quality video well if you just upgrade,the quality you could be seeing much,better conversions at the exact same,cost the next thing is number two and,that's tick tock user generated content,this is very big because you have,branded ads and you have spark ads,branded ads are essentially what you see,here this is an ad by go clove and you,know their shoe brand and they have,these actual you know branded outline,where it has the colors of their blue,they're green and the actual ad and it's,very branded and when you come across it,looks very much so like an ad these,types of ads do work to some degree and,you know do have good conversion rates,depending on you know how they're,actually flexing their brand and,actually driving you know consideration,and actually having people make the,conversion based off of what's actually,in the actual ad and you can see has 57,likes you know people are commenting,that they are interested in the product,which is a good thing but overall we're,seeing much better results wow that's uh that's a lot of views hi,everyone oh i fixed there everyone my,name is nick and welcome back to getting,social with nick now for today's video,we're going to go over tick-tock and,boosting your posts now it's semi new,not really kind of semi new is that tick,tock added a feature where you can boost,your posts just like instagram very,easily now it makes sense for tick tock,obviously because they get more money,and also makes sense for the creator as,well to get your work out to more people,so a couple clients asked us to dabble,into boosting posts so we allocated a,thousand dollars each for five different,companies to boost posts on tick tock so,here's how to do it and the results are,you ready let's go all right now to,boost the post it's uh it's super super,simple essentially it is just like,instagram's boost post feature so,uh what you're gonna do is uh you're,gonna open up tiktok,oh an ad,all right then you're gonna go to your,account and then there's the three bars,in the top right hand corner and then,you're gonna click creator tools and,then once you do that um you're gonna,click the little fire promote button all,right so once you do that you'll you're,gonna see the public videos in the first,bar that that tick tock is allowing you,to boost now for me there's like 30,posts so why was there only two right,here well it's because of the music now,some music they allow you to promote and,do whatever you want with other music,you cannot so you got to keep that in,mind when you are trying to boost a post,you got to be very aware of the music,that you're using because it'll just it,won't let you so after that uh you're,just going to click promote at the,bottom now the next screen is what is,your goal now for my clients the goal,for all of them was to get their media,in front of more people so we wanted,more video views but you can also do,more website visits um and then also,more followers now each one of these is,is how tick tock is going to show your,ad more video views obviously they just,want to show the video more website,visits there's going to be a little tab,where you can click to go to your,website and then also for more followers,there's going to be a quick follow,button on your ad,so for us we just wanted to do more,video views and then after that it goes,your custom audience now,never,let tick tock instagram youtube facebook,never let them choose which audience to,put your stuff in front of they don't,know you they don't know your product,they don't know your company you do so,make sure you choose which audience you,want to be put in front of this is,beyond important do not overlook this do,not just let tick-tock do its thing,because they don't care they just want,your money,so after that you're gonna go um,uh to click next and then you're gonna,go to your budget now,this is gonna vary obviously by the,person and what you're trying to do with,the post now this is where it was kind,of frustrating um as a social media,manager it's because it's not,straightforward now,the subtotal says 316 right,self-explanatory except it's not in,order to uh boost your post or do,anything through tick-tock you have to,buy their coin and their coin price,fluctuates heavily so you need like,essentially 30 000 coins for 300 right,so if you do that similar math uh as you,can see at the bottom,16 000 coins,is uh is essentially half of what you,need right or a little more but that is,240,so if you double that that's 500,that's not even close to the 300 point,so this was really really frustrating,but it's a learning curve with tick tock,and with the consumers like us we've,already figured out some ways to do this,a little more efficiently and after you,do that all you got to do is boost your,post now once it's boosted um you can,check back periodically and see how it's,doing or you can just wait until the,boost has concluded now for the results,so we're we're just gonna do averages,i'm gonna bring it up my phone real,quick i can't get into too specific of,statistics uh for client privacy but uh,we're gonna go over the averages now per,thousand um dollars invested the video,views total was just over,153,views per thousand dollars so if you,extrapolate that out essentially if you,want a million views on your video it's,five thousand bucks now comparatively,when we've run um similar ads on youtube,the same amount of dollars equaled about,a hundred thousand views so you're,essentially getting a third more through,tick tock now a lot of people go back,and forth of what's a more valuable,viewer but we're just we're throwing out,the stats and then after that a couple,more stats that we're going to go over,there was just under um,1500 profile views which means 1500,people went to the profile and checked,it out and watched some other videos we,also had just around 280 comments,per thousand dollars and then for shares,we had around 3 700 shares per a good video to promote that,product now tick tock actually has a,saying for their ad creators it's,basically says you know don't try to,create ads create tick tocks because the,secret to advertising is not to be,annoying and just sell and you know try,to get them to buy right away it's to,provide some kind of value in the ad,make it entertaining right everyone on,tiktok is there for entertainment maybe,to learn some stuff right so make the ad,like that so the best approach to this,is go on your tick tock account see what,video did best right go to the most,viewed video on your tiktok account and,honestly just use that and you just have,to make sure it has some kind of call to,action at the end so maybe you can,remake that video if you don't have a,call to action but anyways i'm going i'm going to click on,this video right here and as you can see,the hook of this video is the easiest,and highest paid online jobs and,basically,during this ad we're not selling the,product right away we're going to,provide some value to them right we're,going to hook them in,so anyways she kind of walks through you,know the different ways to you know,basically just earn an income online so,she has in this video i'm going to be covering,the a to z of tick-tock ads and,affiliate marketing so buckle up because,if you follow everything that i'm going,to share in this video you could be,taking home some really big affiliate,checks what's up for those of you that,don't know me my name is neil and i run,links digital agency and i help hundreds,of people make money through ads and i'm,about to help you next so let's jump,into this video so affiliate marketing,at its simplest it's basically you,getting paid to promote other people's,products and with tic tac ads some of,the most common products that we see,people promoting are things like digital,products and this could be stuff like,courses ebooks physical products this,could be things like e-commerce products,or little trinkets or subscriptions,supplements things like that or software,sas,this could be things like honey slack,you know your run-of-the-mill software,companies and the reason i'm making this,video specifically for tick-tock ads is,because i'm super excited about the,opportunity available the reason for,that is because tick tock ads are brand,new that means the ad costs are,relatively low compared to some of the,other ad platforms and there's very,little competition but with any ad,platform and affiliate marketing,regardless of whether it's tick tock ads,or youtube ads there is one crucial,equation that determines your success,with affiliate marketing you see,affiliate marketing is just a numbers,game and it all just boils down to how,much you can get a sale for versus how,much your payout is in other words how,much is your cost of customer,acquisition versus how much is the,company that you're promoting a periodic,for willing to pay you for that customer,so let's say a company is willing to pay,you a hundred dollars for every new,customer that you bring in,and your cost to bring in a new customer,through ads is let's say 50,well then at the end you would be left,with fifty dollars in profit which,sounds like a great time however in,certain cases if your numbers don't line,up and let's say the company is only,paying you sixty dollars per customer uh,that you bring in and you can't bring in,a customer for,let's say 80 well then you will be,losing 20 so at its most basic level,affiliate marketing is just this simple,equation and in order for you to make a,lot of money with affiliate marketing,you are going to have to manipulate,those two variables you want your payout,to be as high as possible and you want,your costs to be as low as possible so,let's get into it let's talk about how,you can actually manipulate these two,variables and we will first start off,with maximizing your payout in the,beginning you do have to be a little bit,careful when selecting your product that,you're willing to promote and this is,because it becomes a little bit,difficult to actually change the first,variable,your payout after the fact that you've,actually selected your product most,products have a set payout amount and,it's something that you can't really,change so this is why i always recommend,that people when first starting out,always go for a high ticket item and,this is even true with tick tock ads so,even with tech talk ads where ad costs,are low i recommend having at least a 50,payout for e-commerce products and at,minimum a hundred dollar payout with,digital products now that we have our,payout numbers let's actually talk about,how you can go out there and actually,find products to promote well one of the,easiest ways to go about this is to join,an affiliate network so this would be,things like clickbank max bounty verve,now this is the easiest option by far,you can just log on to these platforms,they already have products for you to,pick and promote and you can see what,other people are also promoting so you,have a better idea of what will actually,work now some of the drawbacks with,these affiliate networks even though,they're very easy to set up and get,going is that the products aren't really,the best quality products out there and,combined with the fact that lots of,other people are also on these affiliate,networks you find that some of these,products get saturated very very quickly,so what i recommend is that you go out,there and find individual products that,are not part of any sort of affiliate,network and preferably products that you,are actually profitable about even in,ecommerce what i would recommend is go,find a single product store or you know,a niche brand that only deals with one,particular thing so for e-commerce an,example of this would be uh gaming,chairs and i'm saying gaming chairs,because we used to promote them back in,the day though they're a little bit,saturated now but at the time of it they,were fantastic products to promote why,because they weren't part of any sort of,affiliate network they were a tangible,product and they were the company that,we went with made really good products,so we saw that in the reviews and people,actually
