platform so i,want to share in today's video the,differences between tick-tock and the,goal of the platform that you would,usually see on instagram whereas how,does tick-tock play a role within the,platform they're basically using the,same fonts and same style of writing,that a regular tick tock would so that's,great and guess what you look at the,click-through rates graph of the video,the click-through rate grab goes up all,the way at the end which means people at,the end of the video they click on the,call to action so that's a great ad,right there again why it looks like it,belongs to the platform whereas if we,take a look at that ad right here from,ebay that screams ad and that is so off,from what you would usually find on the,platform and that's why you cannot look,at big corporations when wanting to,advertise on tick tock because a lot of,them they're actually getting the game,wrong they're advertising with ads like,that which again they scream corporate,they scream at this is not the type of,content you would usually see on your,feed that is totally out of the usual,scheme of things on tick tock chances,are if you are a tick tock user watching,this video you probably scroll through,these ads so fast you don't even have,the time to see that and you can see it,with the click-through rate graph on,that video it basically stays stable,throughout all of the video meaning,there's no spike there's no real call to,action people are basically clicking,more or less the same way throughout all,of the videos so meaning they could just,be clicking on screen and swiping down,but again it does not look native to the,platform and that is what you want to,stay away from when you advertise on,tick tock so that obviously when you,want to do some organic content on tick,tock chances are you probably won't even,think of doing something like that right,and what you got to think about is that,tick tock organic and adds the the gap,is so thin tick tock made it so that,your ads look so seamless within the,organic experience that they don't look,like ads the way they've again built the,platform whereas it's a little different,on facebook where you have again,it kind of stands out from the feed when,you have an ad because you have carousel,types which you would not really see on,a regular feed on facebook as an example,but again on tick tock there's no real,indicator beside a small sponsored tag,at the bottom that tells you it's an ad,and in a lot of cases again the way you,shoot your video it can just pass for,some organic content and those are the,car abandoned cars and things like that,and how to better improve it and why,you're seeing this so my name is michael,and i've been in ecom and drop shipping,for about eight years now but now i help,storners better optimize and improve,their store to increase conversion rates,reducing their abandoned carts and,checkouts and overall how to get more,sales without spending extra on ads so,over the past few months i've been,seeing a lot of people ask this kind of,question of them getting a lot of,traffic to their store people adding the,car but not completing their purchase,and so on and first we need to,understand the quality of your actual,viewers and visitors going onto your,store if you're doing tick tock ads or,even if you're doing organic videos with,that and if you're doing organic videos,you really don't know who the visitor is,they can be 13 years old with no credit,card they can be 20 years old 30 even 40,or just even window shoppers at that,point and that's just a reality of it,and compare that when you're doing paid,ads you can target a specific age group,according to your product and,demographic,and for example i see a lot of people,posting about uh these kid products and,yeah you might be getting uh a couple,thousand views or even a few million,views and it might look all good because,you're getting tons of views but like i,said you don't know who the actual,visitor is and they just can be 12 year,olds just watching your video and this,can be the case too when you're running,tick tock ads and doing broad targeting,unless the algorithm picks up who your,target audience is because if it doesn't,then tick-tock is just showing your,videos to a bunch of people who have no,interest in buying your product however,with that being said that's not the main,reason people see low conversion rates,abandoned cars and checkouts because,there can be hundreds of reasons for,that and there's so many different,variables and factors that i can even,list on this video because they'll be an,hour long and i have a bunch of videos,on my channel going over why a lot of,people struggle on getting sales and low,conversions or increasing their,conversions and you can check out those,videos if you haven't already in a lot,of cases it's actually the person's,store and converting the traffic into a,sale and so many people focus their time,on finding better products tech talk ads,facebook ads trying different ad,strategies and so on but they totally,forget on optimizing their store to,increase their conversions and you have,to think about it like this you only,need one click from your ad to your,store but there's typically between five,to eight or more clicks that are,required before a sale leave it is even,made on your store there's so many,things that can go wrong on your store,and people don't even realize it so,that's why it's very important on,optimizing your product pages your cart,and your checkout to get the best,results and increase those conversions,and this is what a lot of these other,drop shipping or e-commerce channels,don't talk about because like what i,always say is that they only talk about,these facebook tick tock ads this actual issue we get this,comment all the time and so many people,DM us on Instagram at real Chase Chapel,asking how can we get our Tick Tock ads,to spend we've done everything we've,tried everything what is it that's not,making it actually spin so let's go,ahead and break down those exact things,you need to know that way you can,actually get your Tick Tock ads to spin,and start converting because we all know,Tick Tock has a huge opportunity as a,platform to generate sales and results,for your brand or business alright so if,your Tick Tock ads are not spending,here's what we're gonna do we're gonna,break down the eight things that you can,start trying out to see if your Tick,Tock ads will spend the first one which,is the most obvious one is increasing,your budget sometimes your budgets are,set too low if there are 20 daily and,you sell a product that's say 60 or 100,Tick Tock will automatically scan your,web page and know that maybe it can't,spend you know twenty dollars a day and,expect to get you a result so it's going,to want you to spend more than what your,actual product cost is in some cases so,the first thing to try is actually,double your budget see if they'll,actually start spinning if it doesn't,increase it some more to see if you'll,get delivery out of your actual ads now,if you can't get delivery out of the,actual ads and it's still not spending,no matter how much you increase it you,should staircase your spin across your,ad groups and what I mean by that is if,you have four ad groups what you would,do is you do twenty dollars on one ad,group 30 on the next one forty dollars,fifty dollars sixty dollars and this is,going to basically show you what spin,level you need to be at initially to get,the ads to spend sometimes twenty,dollars doesn't work sometimes forty,dollars doesn't work it's usually maybe,fifty dollars that actually gets the ads,to start spending so you staircase your,spin to identify where your spend is and,once it's actually starting to spin,you'll know what ad group budgets you,need to set going forward initially when,you're launching your ads so that way,you can get the delivery to happen with,your actual spending the third thing is,actually having two create natives in,your ad group sometimes a lot of people,add like five ten different ads and you,know that's okay to do on Facebook ads,because the system's pretty optimized,they'll know how to deliver the spin,between the different creatives to find,out what's working Tick Tock isn't yet,that efficient and if you have too many,creatives in there with a very small,budget it's not going to spend at all if,you launch Five ads and you only have 20,daily it's gonna be have a very hard,time of spending whereas if you have two,actual ad creatives you're going to be,more likely to actually get spend,delivery because the system only has to,optimize between two different ads to,find results for you now the second,thing here is sometimes people have two,ads and it won't deliver or they'll only,have one a good strategy is to have a,one ad that's actually a spark ad which,means it's been an authorized post from,an influencer or it's an authorized post,from your actual page,the second one is a non-you know,authorized post which is just you,uploading the content into Tick Tock ads,directly and having that as an ad as,well where you write the copy and you,actually put in the custom link and,everything there this is a strategy that,allows you to actually see if you'll get,delivery based off spark or non-spark we,see this work a lot of times when you,know Brands actually make these,adjustments go down to two creatives per,ad group and have one creative where,they actually wrote the custom copy the,second one an authorization post from,either influence or other page you'll,start to see delivery and number four is,switching from purchase conversions down,to add to cart and letting that run for,two to three days if you're not getting,any delivery even after making those,adjustments so far switch to add to cart,give it two to three days and see if,your spin starts to go through and if it,does great you can switch back to,purchase conversions after a few days,and your spin delivery should start to,actually start performing and number,five make sure you have all of the,placements turned off besides Tick Tock,you want to have Tick Tock ads as the,only placement because if you're running,an actual creative that doesn't fit the,other you know platform Replacements,it's not going to deliver and the ad,group just won't even run it's not as,efficient as just automatically choosing,Tick Tock for you so you need to select,Tick Tock as a placement Standalone and,number six is turning off third thing is over produced things,that look like very much commercials,inside of here you can see this has like,all this fancy text all these things,these confetti falling down it doesn't,look native to the platform again and,it's just not going to yield the same,results and the fourth one which is,probably very obvious is Tick Tock is a,video platform if you just take images,of your products and trying to scroll,them through you're not going to see,great results so those are four common,things to avoid when it comes to tick,tock ads and we're gonna be going over a,couple more throughout the video as well,but now let's actually talk about how to,create Tick Tock ads that work so real,quick this may sound really simple but,one thing I want you to always remember,when it comes to tick tock ads is,there's three parts to a tick tock ad,one you have the hook which is arguably,the most important part of the ad,because if people don't continue to,watch your video then none of Nothing,Else Matters third is you have the,information or the meat of the product,now when you are creating the,information about the product I want you,to keep in mind that your information,should taking,there's a lot of you know charlatan,schemes out there and stuff of that,nature,so again this is a protected agents,against that so they're gonna err on the,side of caution when it comes to that,now when you think about the next reason,okay so the next reason,is going to be your text and your,caption right so make sure you're,texting your caption is,done properly there is no kind of,there's no um,like weird instances of you know having,like uh different characters and stuff,of that nature that should not be in,there like false links,or something of that nature that would,give that false indication of that,right so tick tock does give the,variability to have your ad,in an ad quality of a video go directly,to your url if you're going to a landing,page or,something selling something that's not,like a product service,e-commerce or whatever the case may be,right so you don't,have to go ahead and spam the algorithm,of that nature so that's,what this is basically doing is saying,don't falsify stuff don't do,grammar mistakes and stuff like that,don't really indicate,different things so make sure your stuff,is done properly so when you make your,creative make sure that's done,right the next is going to be video,quality there are highly,obviously this is this is a video based,atmosphere right so video quality,and your image quality is going to very,much be,very important right so when it comes,down to it too the audio is something,that is very important when it comes,to that video so if you don't have any,audio,it's going to tell you hey we're not,going to do that right right,this is a this is a platform that is,here for the users it's here to give the,entertainment,it's here to get the best in the you,know user experience possibly for that,one of those two is going to be the,video and the other one is going to be,the audio right so just like youtube,if you didn't see here or you know go,through that you would the video,wouldn't be worth it right so again when,it comes down to it that is something,you need to be,very cautious of now again uh product,pricing,now they want you to not talk about your,product pricing again when it comes down,to it you know,giving different indications of oh by,the way there's going to be discounts of,this this and this,again an inconsistency um you know and,just relative to the product pricing and,promoting,on if you're watching this video it's,probably to figure out how to scale your,tick-tock ads in this video we're going,to break down exactly what you need to,do to be able to scale without hitting,any roadblocks on your journey in just a,few seconds i'm going to go over and,break down what you need to do exactly,on this channel we talk about e-commerce,tick-tock ads drop shipping pretty much,everything going on in the space so if,that's something that you're interested,in make sure you hit the like button,subscribe to this channel because i give,a ton of free value and content and,trainings all linked in in the,description on this channel so guys also,i do this completely for free just for,the videos to help you guys out so if,you got any value from this video any,value at all all i ask is you share it,with one person that is the fee for,every video on this channel just share,it with one person if you got value from,this video if not totally cool but if,you did that would be great all right,guys let's get straight into it okay so,a big reason why i see people and how,they can't scale their tick tock ads is,one of these few things,first off,they just don't have margin i talked,about this in my previous video,and they just don't have the margin and,what do i mean by margin you know how,much the product costs to buy,and then how much does it cost you know,to sell minus your ad spend,so minus your ads that's your margin can,you afford it can you afford to,advertise most of you don't even know,that question can you even afford to run,ads on the platform boom that's the,first thing another thing that's causing,you not to be able to scale,is creatives that's the big thing right,creatives a lot of you guys expect to,rip one to five pieces of content,on tick tock or wherever you find the,content for drop shipping and expect to,scale well guess what after,maybe,one to two weeks,a lot of the times,your ads die out and how how is that,sustainable how can you run tick tock,ads,for more than two weeks,and expect to have a sustainable,business,that right there my friend is just not,going to work for you,so how do you do that right a lot of,people,think,that,it's all about the media buying strategy,it's all about the media right it's,about the media buying strategy,uh you know this strategy does this this,method does this aco aco this cost cap,this lowest cost this right all these,different methods,to lead to what,to scale,right all these random methods are,scaling no no no no no no no no,that's not how you scale,yes it's a huge lever in improving your,sales on the platform but that's not,what we want to do it's going to be,important obviously they go hand in hand,you need creatives and you need media,buying strategies i get it don't be like,oh tmurf said i don't need good media,buying skills no no no that's not what i,said,what i mean is they need to go hand in,hand,creatives and the media buying strategy,so you're probably okay what do you mean,by this exactly though well this is what,i mean once you start you know testing,your creatives say you like i said say,you test one to five creatives off the,bat,and you test them with lowest cost,lowest cost is a bidding strategy guys,and you test them with lowest costs,right,and let's say we add a 20 budget for,each of these a 20 budget per ad group,super broad right,no interest,just super broad,ad groups and normally i target let's,say 18 to 55,plus,and we'll do,male slash,female right that's normally how i,launch the ads a lot of people right,this is a great starting point amazing,started point for you,you got your five creatives hopefully,you know it's a plus if you make these,creatives guys like you actually order,the product into your house and then you,make the creatives yourself this leads,to let's i'm just gonna be honest with,you it leads to cheaper cost per clicks,so at least the cheaper cpcs,and cpms because i get a lot of messages,from a decent amount of people saying my,cpms have gone up my cpcs are up guys,you it's hard to use ripped content,anymore if you use any of those um you,know downloaded sites like snaptic or ss,io,or qlo just to completely rip the tick,tock itself the algorithm is smart,enough now to know if you ripped the,content or not is this your own ad have,you made this yourself,a couple ways around that you know to,combat this is obviously ordering the,product in to your house,you know or,rip the content yourself,and edit it you can edit it rip it like,use adobe premiere any editing software,any way that you can rip it and then,edit it in your own way is going to,cause you to have better cpcs and cpms,so even in this video we're talking,about a bunch of things,not just why you can't scale a lot of,these things are all coming together,right they all come together,because without one lever you know the,other's not gonna pull itself so you,have to do it one by one,anyway,you can rip the content and then edit,yourself or you can also get a uh,someone from
