in today's video i'm going to show you,how to add tick tocks to your product,pages and your homepage no apps no,special themes required and no,complicated coding before we get into,the video if you like videos about,winning products drop shipping shopify,themes apps and tutorials do us a favor,and hit that subscribe button and turn,notifications on now let's get into the,video,adding tick-tock videos to your shopify,store is a great way to showcase and,demonstrate your products as well as,provide the visitor with the social,proof they want to see before purchasing,first i'll show you how to add tick,tocks to your product pages for this all,you have to do is click on the product,that you want to add a tick tock to,and then in the description click your,mouse cursor wherever you want the video,to go,next click the video icon,you can see this isn't limited to,tick-tock alone you can also add youtube,videos instagram reels and etc just by,following these same steps,next what you're going to do is open a,new tab and go to tick tock and find the,tick tock that you want to add then,simply click on the video,and then what you want to do is click,the embed icon,then click copy to clipboard now go back,to your shopify tab where you have your,product listing,and press ctrl v to paste the code,and click insert video,now just save,and then when you preview your product,you can see that you now have your tick,tock added to your product description,now if you want to add tick tocks to,your home page this too is super simple,i'm going to use debut for this example,which is one of shopify's free themes,and by the way if you guys are using a,different theme and need help just leave,me a comment down below with which theme,you're using and i'll do my best to help,okay so all you have to do is click add,section,and then click custom content,now by default it will put in a text and,image block so just go ahead and remove,those blocks,next click add block,now you might notice that there's a,video block there but unfortunately at,this time that block only supports,youtube and vimeo links so don't click,that we're going to use the custom html,block,go ahead and add as many blocks as you,want i'm going to do three cross,then what you want to do is just like we,did before open a new tab and open tick,tock find the video you want,click embed,copy the code and then go back to your,shopify tab,press ctrl v to paste your code into,that custom html block,then go ahead and repeat this for as,many blocks as you have,another thing you will need to do is,adjust the container with if you're,doing two you can leave it at 50 percent,or if you're doing four change each of,the blocks to 25 percent,for me i'm doing three so i'll change,all of my blocks to 33 percent,that's it you guys super simple and no,need for apps coding or expensive themes,i hope this helped if it did make sure,to give this video a thumbs up and share,it with a friend and make sure to,subscribe for more videos like this
