In Edit Order, you can change shipping rates on  a Shopify order without recreating orders from  ,scratch. This edit is perfect for expediting  shipping on a customer's order or upgrading  ,and downgrading shipping costs to match your  order edits. This video will be separated into  ,three sections: how to change shipping in Edit  Order, how to add a shipping rate in Shopify,  ,and an overview of shipping options in Edit Order.  First, let's go over how to switch your shipping  ,rate on an order in Edit Order. Once you've  installed Edit Order, select the relevant order.,Click More Actions in the top right hand  corner and choose Edit Order from the list.,Once your order is open, scroll to the bottom.  You'll see your current shipping rate in the line  ,under Subtotal. If the text in this line isn't  clickable, don't worry! Here's the solution.  ,You'll just need to switch to Advanced Mode  using the button in the top right of your screen.,Now, let's actually change your shipping.  When you check your shipping rate again,  ,you'll see that the text has become a blue  link that opens to a box with editing options.  ,Click on the first bar labeled Select. A dropdown  menu will appear with available shipping rates.  ,Choose your rate and select Apply. The new  shipping rate will automatically replace  ,your current shipping rate. If the shipping  rate you need isn't included in the dropdown,  ,you can always add a one-time rate using  the manual option under the dropdown.  ,However, keep in mind that this rate will  not be saved in Shopify for future orders.,For now, I'll choose from  the existing list and save.,On the order page, you'll see that  your shipping rate has been updated.,If you return to your order list, you'll  notice that when you edit in Advanced Mode  ,the original order is cancelled and your shipping  rate is changed on an edited order. If you  ,need more information about how Advanced Mode  works, check out the links in the description.  ,If you want to create a custom shipping rate that  can be used for future order edits, you'll need to  ,set this new rate up in Shopify before it becomes  available to select in Edit Order. To do this,  ,navigate to your Shopify settings and choose  Shipping and Delivery then click Manage Rates.,Scroll to the bottom of the page  where you'll find your shipping rates.  ,Click the Add Rate button under the relevant  shipping zone and input your rate's name,  ,price, and conditions if you need them.  Finally, let's go over some context.  ,Due to platform limitations in Shopify, this  feature can only be used to switch to an existing  ,weight-based or price-based shipping rate on a  single order. For all rates that don't appear  ,in Edit Order's dropdown menu, you will need  to either calculate and manually add them to  ,individual orders or create a new shipping rate  in your Shopify settings. Edit Order's shipping  ,option does not support carrier-calculated  shipping rates like FedEx, UPS, or DHL based  ,on line items in your order.
