hey there so in this video i'm just,going to show you how to merge,two active shopify stores,so i have a client that has this two,shopifys this the old one and this the,new one,um so we would want to redirect all,of the information here to this website,so i hope it will be helpful if you are,in the same,situation unfortunately there is no way,that,at the moment that shopify has a,function where you can just,merge two stores so you that will be a,manual task the first thing,is to prepare your new website so,this has all the information that we,need like,the products and the pages and the blogs,so everything,has been transferred here but if you,um haven't done that yet for the pages,in the blogs you would need to,put them manually but for the,products you can um,you can import them for the products or,you can export so you can get,the products from here so export,and then on the new website you can,import them,and then another thing is what we need,to do is the customer so that,we can keep the analytics and the,marketing so we can,like create a marketing campaign to send,all the customers that were from the old,website to tell them that this the new,website so,for the customers here you can export,them so export all customers,and then on the new website you can,import them for the orders,you can export them however you cannot,import them so you would need,a an app like this one easy importer,um the first 50 imports are free,so what you need to do is to get the 50,and then export and then use this easy,importer it's pretty simple how to do it,because it's the same,shopify um mapping but for all the,others 50 like with this one there are,about 9 000,um um history of orders here you would,want to export,all orders another time but um you can,import them,but you know it would like eight hundred,dollars just to get those information,and maybe because these are just for,your,records you won't really need them um,aside from the analytics so you would,can you can just store it somewhere on,your um,google drive or you know save it just in,case you want to get those,information so what i recommend is just,to get the first 50,and then just put those first 50 using,this,app to the new website so at the moment,what i'm doing,is i'm importing i've already got,all the customers and the orders,from the old um,website and i'm transferring them to,the new website,so what happens is when um,this is the old you old shopify and this,is the new shopify,what will you need to do is to change,the primary domain,and then put it on this one the my,shopify,and then on the um,third-party domain you would need to,remove this one so click the domain,remove that,okay now go back to your,new website and then just go to,the online store domains just the same,with the old one i,forgot to mention that so online store,and then domain,um and then with here you would just,need to,um let me see because i've already added,the other one,so just connect existing domain,and then put the existing domain here,put it here,and then next so i've already done that,um i'm just waiting for it to finish,so you would need to connect existing,and then paste the url here,and then you would need to because the,godaddy already um it has been,verified before from the old one so you,can just connect,manually and then verify connection,it will verify and let's just wait for,that,okay it's finished okay,once the um that once that done what,gear,was connected and what you want to do,is to manage and then make sure that,all everything that is being,uh all the visitors that goes to the,world,to the old domain would be redirected to,the,new domain so that's what you want the,next thing,that we wanted is the so to save all the,seo efforts that was created from the,old,domain um we would want to redirect them,to the new one so,example for this one this the,old url path and this this,where it will go to so you would just,need to,the first thing that you will need to do,is if um,to get the existing um,site maps or url so you can use um,screaming frog like so let me show you,how to do this,so,so i think with screaming frog the first,500 is free to,to get um without a license so on hair,mold,spider and then just enter your url here,and then start and then you can export,that,the information right here so you would,get,um a list of all the urls that are,active and then just create a new one so,this aren't old and this the new so this,where it will be redirecting so just,save that,um save as csv file and then go,back to your shopify store,and then under the online course online,store navigation,and url redirects and then import,redirects,so um upload that,the one that we've created and then just,wait for it to finish okay,so it's invalid header so,we're just going to look at what's the,correct,name or header for it so download that,example so,this is okay be direct form from every,layer,too so that's the name for the headers,save again and go back again and let's,try one more time,okay so that's all done this is the from,and this will be redirected so import,that's it you will just need to wait for,it to finish,so let's wait for that
