hey there guys my name is marquez and in,this video i'm going to compare,evolution with shopify the first thing,i'm going to share with you,is what is my actual recommendation for,you to use like in what situation i,would choose volusion over shopify,and in what situation i would go with,shopify or volusion,then i'm going to compare pricing plans,and then i'm going to check out,themes main features integrations apps,so let's start,now i'm not paid by volusion or shopify,to say this thing that i'm going to say,this is just my honest review,but i wouldn't personally go with,evolution the only,reason or the only way why would i would,go with evolution,is because they don't have the,transaction fee that shopify has,if you want to choose shopify you have,to pay for the basic shopify,or software advanced shopify two percent,one percent or zero point five percent,as a payment processing,if you don't use shopify payment what,does it mean is that,when someone is going to pay through,paypal or let's say stripe,you're going to pay three percent to,stripe and then you're gonna pay another,two percent or one percent or 0.5,of the order to shopify so this is like,the one big disadvantage i personally,see in shopify,but the other hand on volusion you are,unable to,write blocks so the seo and,if you want to create a really big and,really great store you should go with,the shopify all the way,uh volusion got less integration than,apps comparing to shopify when we,compare the themes,the quality is not that great comparing,to shopify yes they have but,they got a limitation shopify is like,big deal,so if you if you want to go big,and you want to write posts for your,blog and you want to,have plenty of apps integrated and i,have a really great automation,i would go definitely with shopify and,again i'm not paid by them,i'm just giving you like the truth what,you should do so you don't lose money,when you go further to the pricing plan,let me show you,so they got both on a monthly basis the,personal,and the basic shopify is completely the,same the huge advantage of the personal,unlike on the basic shopify is that you,have abundant card,just in the basic shopify account so you,can just start with the basic shopify,and you're good to go,if you're not going to get a lot of,orders uh you can have like free trial,on both that you can test it out,and that's what i would do to start a,free trial learn how to build a website,etc it's like in that way,it's quite effective then you get 79,and this is the same with the shopify,79.79,like even they're literally the same the,pricing plan,the only difference is how much money,you're gonna pay to transaction fees and,shopify goddamn volusion,doesn't have them but on shopify you're,gonna have more apps more integrations,more themes,so even i really think that paying those,transaction fee is going to be all right,because the quality you're gonna get now,when i'm going to compare,like the themes that you can build up,with,let me show you so click here on themes,and let's compare it to themes of,shopify so you get three,11. premium 34 that you can use,you don't have the categories here this,is something that i like about shopify,is that when you would come here to film,shopify,what you can do is to choose it based on,the categories,so number of products layout style,product page home page,and you can really find it's like okay i,want to go with a single product so i,can really choose like narrative the,free one and then just,change the pictures change the products,on it and while i'm i'm well off,and same with everything else so you get,more categories,more themes in shopify comparing to,evolution,this is what i meant now when we compare,also the main features and how it,actually works,i'll in shopify you click here and you,can simply move the sections you can add,a new section,and you can optimize it as much as you,want so the one thing that i like that,is directly responsive,so when you would like choose a theme,it's going to be responsive because,you're not going to be like on weeks,that you're going to have responsibility,and breakdown problems,so that's really important now to go,further on volusion when you would come,here,and let's say i'm going to log in here,and i'm going to add a password,the big difference that i personally see,is how you can build a website so i come,here to start from,and again you can't have,oh you can have a like blog here,so i gotta choose the theme here,style editor you need to like choose the,colors,but you are really limited how you can,build the website right,like how you can move the sections etc,you don't have something like that again,you're limited how you can work with,and all again i think that ease of use,like evolution is much harder to,master and understand how we can,actually build a side with,so this just like my perspective that i,wouldn't personally go with evolution,yes the analytics are good,but you can get it even better on,shopify,right then yes you got tax calculations,but even when you want to go,worldwide and you want to have,multi-currency,and you want to have multi-language,shopify so like all the way,that's what i would personally do,and with the integrations you can easily,convert the traffic to your potential,customers,so we come here and i get like automated,sales boost,here on shopify let me show you i get,like sales ticker,advanced inventory countdown free,shipping flash sale,plus sale trust badges so many things,right,so as you can see like just from the is,it,like to summarize this whole video go,with the shopify,all the way yes they both for how we can,create good ecommerce website,the huge advantage to evolution is that,you have,no transaction fee comparing to shopify,but,here comes the disadvantages with the,themes you can choose with the apps and,integrations you can have,with the way how we can build a website,with also,that evolution is going to get really,really limited if you're gonna,have a lot of like let's say not orders,but products,then it's going to get overwhelming also,with the,no way how you can write a blogs it's,going to get also pretty messy so,to increase the traffic on your website,from google search,so my recommendation go with the shopify,all the way,you can test it out and test the store,with the
