in everybody I just wanted to give you a,quick a video for today to show you how,to increase your average order value so,certain themes and I use one called,I can remember the only thing responsive,by out of the sandbox out to the sandbox,quite a well-known company I've recently,changed my theme over and one of the,things they allow you to do as part of,the product is to display related items,and you can control that by changing,your collections so an example of that,is I sell here the Rufina brief so here,I am on my product which looks,absolutely beautiful but but this comes,as a set there's a Brar there's a pants,there's suspenders there's stockings as,a whole load of things in this set and I,want to upsell and get my customers to,buy the rest of the set as well so if,you scroll down to the bottom it says,related items and these are these are,just items that it picks out of the,collection because this collection is,lingerie so it just picks items from the,lingerie collection not really related,at all you know but I want to I want to,upsell the specific items so you can do,that with this particular theme some,things you can sometimes you can't this,one you can and this is the way to do it,so I have to come here and you have to,create a collection and I've created a,collection called Rufina and I've added,into that collection all of the Rufina,items so you've got the brief the bra,the thong but but specific to that,products that you then need to find the,handle of that collection and you can do,that by clicking on the search engine,preview and it says down here URL and,handle and this one is called,sensational rose or Athena so I'm just,gonna copy that for a minute and then,you need to add that handle to all of,the products so I'm going to go back to,products and I'm going to type in Rufina,so here's all here's all of my,Rufina products I'm gonna select all of,those so I'm going to click select all,of them and you can add things in and,add things out as you want so you know,certain things might not be relevant but,you can get all of the ones that are,relevant together bulk action add a tag,now I'm going to add the tag meta,related items,sorry meta related collection and then,I'm going to paste the name of the,collection I want so the meta related,collection is sensational Rosa Rafina,that's the collection that contains all,those items I'm gonna apply that change,so now when I go back to my product,which previously had things that weren't,really related and I hit the refresh,button now I'm gonna see all of the,items that are related to that product,the proper related items I want people,to buy so they buy the brief now they,can buy the suspender belt the brow the,thong or whatever they want to to buy to,go with that the matching stocking is,the matching hold ups you know that they,can buy the whole set so I'm upselling,to my customer I'm allowing them to,purchase the rest of the things that,they need but it's not costing me,anything I don't have an app to do that,I don't have you know bold upsell of,something like that I'm just changing my,theme and making the most of that now a,secondary benefit to that is you also,have a collection that just contains,these items so for search engine,optimization people Google Rufina,they'll find a collection that contains,all of the Rufina items only so in,theory that should convert better,because that's what they're looking for,and also if you do something like a,Facebook ad you can point the add to the,collection as opposed to the individual,product so they can see everything in,the collection and they may want to buy,the whole collection as it's just,opposed to one product they may want the,matching set so that's a little tip that,you can do with out of the sandbox a,little how to to do that how to upsell,and it's built right into your thing,so I hope that helps you for today
