the source is Tick,Tock ads manager this picked up 58 likes,two comments and four shares so far but,if we go here so we can literally look,at the click-through rates we can look,at the CVR we can look at the clicks,conversions all these different types of,data points that we can look at to see,okay well they created their ad like,this and it performed kind of well or it,didn't perform kind of well whatever it,is and you can kind of see if that's,something that you want to also try if,that's a strategy you want to try if,that's a sound you want to try it that's,an effect you want to try whatever the,case may be,but not only do you have the,availability to look at the creative,itself you can also look at some of the,data to help you best make a decision so,again we can look through here they have,black text on the top and black text on,the bottom now from Tick Tock we know,these style of videos don't actually,convert very well even if it's a duet it,still won't work in the actual ad Style,videos because there's too much Blank,Space it doesn't put attention on the,actual product itself and it's not going,to drive a lot of conversions now it,might be okay for awareness but as you,know a small business or brand that's,looking to get sales it makes more sense,to focus on Tick Tock style creatives,that are actually going to convert,versus just going for an awareness based,play,so a style of video like this isn't,something you would want to actually use,for ads on Tick Tock and believe it or,not even big Brands out there still have,not figured it out they literally are,you know engulfed with corporate uh,individuals that just don't understand,Tick Tock but they know they need to be,on there but they're putting up the,wrong type of content so even the big,Brands don't necessarily understand how,Tick Tock ads work and more than,anything this looks more like a,commercial than it does an actual Tick,Tock video and if we know one thing Tick,Tock doesn't like ads they like tick,tocks so let's look at the next Dollar,Video you don't want to do so for this,one you don't want the black you know,boxes at the top or any space where,there's just nothing going on next video,style that you want to avoid is Tick,Tock Style videos that look like,Facebook ads this might be a fine,Facebook ad where it's a cell where it's,showing the different products but this,isn't going to work on Tick Tock,literally these videos here you know,there's white text it looks like it's an,ad it was created somewhere else other,than Tick Tock they're showing their,logo first which is automatically going,to you know result in a swipe through,they're optimizing for traffic so they,clearly don't know what they're doing,and you can really tell that this ad was,probably just pulled from another one of,their you know swipe files that they use,on Facebook or Instagram and what works,on Facebook and Instagram doesn't,necessarily work on Tick Tock so you,definitely don't want the style of,videos here and these white backgrounds,great for Facebook not on Tick Tock,specifically so never do your logo first,you always want to focus on the product,and you if if you're running a cell you,want Tick Tock Style videos which we're,going to get into so definitely don't,create style of content like this it,looks like it's just an ad from Facebook,and platform,you will not be able to see the ads,that's currently running for a specific,page or,profile or anything like that unlike the,facebook ad library,on tech talk ad library you will be able,to see all the,ad set that's currently running for a,particular niche,not the profile or a page and you can,filter out this ad set,by the click through or the view rate,and also filter out the ad set,by the niche for example you will be,able to see all the ad set that's,currently,running for clothing or technology or,markov chain,or whatever your niche is and the next,best option,in this ad library for tech talk is you,will be able to see the ad set that's,currently running for a specific country,yes you will be able to see all the,advertisements that's running,in australia or canada or united states,or wherever your niche is and this is,really cool right and without any more,checking,let's get to it so just scroll down,description box and you will see for the,link for the ad library for tech talk,and after you did access it you should,see this page right here and by the way,make sure to log in to an account and i,wasn't able to login into,this platform through my tech talk,account i it yet just,click on it and you will see,sit there impressions and six seconds,video,view rate so the first one means click,through,so for example if the ad has a click,through of 15,that means that 150 percent out of,1000 viewers they do click it on the ad,set,and that's really cool right if you do,have a click through of 15,that means that people are really,interested in that ad set and they do,click on it,and the option below it is impressions,and this option it basically will filter,out all the ad set,based on the impressions that each ad,set has,and i don't recommend to go for one link in the,description but now that's out of the,way let's get into tick tock ad,creatives first things first what does,not work with tick tock ad creatives the,facebook dropship style creatives,definitely do not work well on tiktok,the reason for this they look too much,like ads so when you're running ads on,tick tock you want to make the creatives,look very native like i said tick tock,enjoys native content when people are,scrolling through their feed they're not,looking to look at an ad they're looking,to just watch another tick tock and if,it hooks them if there's a cool product,in the video they buy the product that's,kind of how it works that's how you get,good click-through rates that's how you,crush it on tick-tock ads high,production videos also don't work,usually they just look too out of place,if you go to the tick tock creative,center you'll see a lot of the videos,are not high production they're actually,lower quality videos and look like,someone just ordered the product and,filmed it real quick like it wasn't a,crazy thought out video now something,else that really doesn't work and we've,tried this is having a video with a lot,of blank space on the top or bottom now,what i mean by this is if the video is a,square video and then you have black,banners on top and bottom we tried,running a video like that the video was,amazing but the ad overall just,performed horribly and we came to the,conclusion that it was because it did,not look well it did not flow well on,people's tik tok feed they'd much rather,see a video of someone just reviewing,the product or something like that,rather than a product that looks super,high production it actually looks like,an ad that stuff really does not work on,tick tock which is actually kind of nice,because when i'm running facebook ads it,takes me a while to actually get,creatives because i'm not the one that,can create them so i have a video team,that actually edits them all together,and does that so it again takes a little,bit of time but with tick tock ads the,stuff that works is stuff you and myself,and anyone can go in and create it's not,like we need to have crazy editing,software or anything like that so what,works with tick tock creatives native,content works extremely well what i mean,by native content is essentially content,on the platform that flows that looks,like just any other video on the app if,you're scrolling through tik-tok you,really won't be able to distinguish the,ads from the normal videos that's how it,should be so that works another thing,that works really well to get more in,depth is people simply just getting the,product and seeing how it works like oh,i just got this product let's see how it,works that's something that works what's good YouTube Welcome Back to,another video this is marketing with Dev,and in this video I'm going to be,teaching you guys how to spy on your,competition using Facebook or Tick Tock,ads right so when I say spy on your,competition what I mean is we're going,to show you guys how you can see all of,the ads that are running on certain,platforms how you can use those ads that,are running to take certain things and,help your business grow to help your ads,get better and it's important that we do,this because the climate of advertising,is always going to be constantly,changing right so you want to make sure,that you're keeping up with your,competitors so you can see what they're,doing you can see what the new trends,are you can see what's going on and you,can start to get a bigger scope of,what's working and what's not working,right so I'm going to teach you guys how,you can do this right now in this video,so let's go,foreign,so first I'm going to show you guys how,to spy on your competition on Tick Tock,so what you guys want to do is go to,ads.ticktock.com and you'll be,um shown the creative Center The Tick,Tock creative Center where all of the,ads are and you can literally go through,these ads take notes on things that you,notice different trends that different,brands are using different,um hooks like you'll notice that a lot,of Brands start to use similar things,and if all of these brands are using,similar things that should tell you that,they're probably seeing some level of,success with it and you should take note,of that and possibly try that for,yourself,so if we go down a little bit here we,can select the country that we want to,see ads in so I'm in the US so I'm going,to keep that here we can select an,industry that we want to see so let's,say I want to see,um let's say I want to see e no let's,say I want to see food and beverage,ads okay and I can select the objective,that I want to see ads from so I don't,really care what objective it is for,this specific example but let's say for,example you guys just want to see lead,generation campaigns or conversion,campaigns or product sales campaigns,then you guys can select that,individually to see which one you want,if you want to see how many likes a,certain ad got if you want to if you,only want to see likes that got a,certain amount of likes you can also,select that and same with duration if,you only want to see ads that are less,than 10 seconds you can select that if,you only want to see ads that are longer,than 50 seconds you can select that and,when were these ads posted last seven,days last of days and last 180 days so,you have a lot of room to actually be,able to get some good data here so let's,take a look at some of these ads and,let's see what we got,foreign,so what you guys want to do is go,through all of these ads in your,industry and like I said before take,notes on the things that you notice the,different opening hooks that they use,the different trends that they use on,the different transitions that they use,the different features or effects that,they're using you will start to notice a,lot of different patterns and it's,important that you're able to notice,these patterns so you can then go on and,test it for yourself to see if you can,have success with it as well,you guys will benefit so much by just,doing research in The Tick Tock creative,center before you even uh run your ads,or set up your campaigns go and do some,research on other people in your,industry first see what they're doing,see what they're doing right see what,they're doing wrong and then you can,make the adjustments beforehand right so,it's very important that we're doing,research at all times and a part of,doing research is studying your,competition studying the people who are,also running ads at the same time as you,okay now so I'm going to show you guys,the Facebook ad Library all I do is just,type in Facebook ad library on Google,and click the first link that I get and,it'll bring you here so you can choose,the category of ads that you want to see,so all ads issues elections or politics,like these are the special categories,right here,um if you're like me and most people,you're gonna just want to see all ads,right here and now we can search by,keyword or Advertiser so if I know,there's a specific person who um who has,a similar business to me or in the same,industry I can literally type in that,person's name and they will show me all,of their ads that they're running,so that's very very very important and,it's very very good to know who your,competition is because if you know who,your competition is you can just go back,here and just spy on them see what,they're doing see what's working and,what's not working right so how you may,ask how am I going to know what's,working so you can check by the amount,of time that an ad has been running that,is probably doing well so if an ad has,been running for over a week two weeks,it's probably doing well because if it,wasn't if it
