entertaining  ,nature of tick tock ads so it might be perfect  for your brand this video is perfect for beginners  ,we're not going to skip any steps but i'm also  going to go into some advanced things around  ,content because that is so important to make sure  that you make tick tock ads work the first step  ,you're going to want to do is set up your shopify  store if you haven't set up your tick tock for business this is where you  ,need a new tick tock account already have a tick  tock business account you can just click connect  ,but today we're gonna have to create a brand new  one so i'm just gonna click create new at the top  ,enter my email address get the verification code  sent into the verification code here agree to  ,terms and conditions and just click sign up you  can click connect down the bottom right and that's  ,now created an ads manager business manager under  that email we can click create new ad account and  ,we can select the country and the currency that we  want to be built in this is generally the region  ,that you want to be targeting change the business  name to something a little bit simpler click sign  ,up and connect you'll come to this data sharing  section which we've touched on a few times in my  ,previous episodes just click enhanced or maximum  providing you've got the terms and conditions set  ,up for something and then click the moves,you know this is a great way to promote,a brand or product but creating a,dance that goes with it but i know this,isn't for everyone,personally not my cup of tea so let's,move on to the next example,so the next example with this one it's,also straight,pretty straightforward they have,literally just,shown their apparel products overlaid,with a popular song and they've added a,direct,call to action button as part of the ad,which i'll show you how to do,later in this tutorial they have a,buttload of likes,at 200k plus for this specific ad alone,which means they most likely,ran an engagement campaign on tick-tock,but the point here is you don't always,need to have a really fancy you know,dancing tick-tock video to succeed so,this is an example of an ad that works,and it's just a very,simple uh you know apparel video the,next one is,from nike this one's pretty interesting,have you watched this,you know ad loan by itself you're,probably going to wonder,how the heck is this working how does it,drive customers to,buy anything or do anything wouldn't,blame you but,what's going on here is also genius and,can drive virality the goal here is to,get,as many users to repost how do,you know what will engage and convert on,tick tock well i have over 120 000,followers on tick tock where i share,marketing tips i've done over 30 brand,deals with sponsors i know what it's,like to be on both sides both from an,agency standpoint with managing ads and,also creator standpoint from having,created content and also working with,sponsors and knowing what you know,brands like from their creators and how,to do it in a way that actually,generates conversions,and i also know how to get videos to do,over a million plus views and how to,sell out an entire store with tick tock,a lot of individuals think it's left up,to fate whether or not they'll go viral,or not but there are things you can do,to increase your chances of getting a,million plus views and having a good,chance of actually selling out your,store,and i also learned from a lot of my,friends on account growth who are some,of the top tick tock creators in the,world here we have alex stemp who has,over 19.5 million followers and almost,half a billion likes on his videos just,this video here,92.5 million views another 150 million,views another one 58.5 million views,he's definitely figured out the way to,you know,follow a guideline that is for,storytelling to generate a ton of views,and i also coach tick tock influencers,and brands on how they can increase,sales from their tick tock accounts,so are tick tock ads for you,well tick tock got more traffic than,google in all of 2021 which is pretty,crazy if you think about it because i'm,sure a lot of you use google every day,you do a lot of google searches but even,though there's so many people using,google tiktok still beat them out for,most traffic,and tick tock has over a billion monthly,active users on their app,and their algorithm is very efficient,for the organic views and they have very,long watch times in fact average users,spend around 26 hours a month on tick,tock that's an insane amount of time to,be spending on tick tock every single,month so,they beat out youtube by 16 hours a,month that youtube gets on average and,tick tock beat them out with the average,user having 26 hours that's a full 10,extra hours so definitely there's tons,of opportunities to get plenty of,impressions because that means there's,so much people on there and spending so,much time that you have the opportunity,to reach them and be able to you i wasn't at my,computer i don't know what i was,thinking golfing on a thursday but it,costed me 42 grand so i've definitely,got a crazy story coming for that once,it's resolved but that's not going high cpms and high cost per,clicks tick-tock seems to be the,all-around solution and in this video,i'm going to show you exactly how i,start and run my tick tock ad campaigns,to get sales like you hear in the,background so over the past few months,i've generated quite a lot with tic toc,in terms of revenue and in profit and,this is just one of the stores i'm,currently running and you guys can see,the active visitors we have 1.1 k as,well as 30 000,in sales just for today and here's also,one of the other stores we did around,60k in november and going on into,december we pulled out around here and then,for the campaign name you're going to,put whatever the product name is but i'm,just going to put one for the sake of,this video and then you don't want to,touch any of these these are for,different strategies and actually do use,these options but we're not going to do,that in this case specifically so we're,gonna hit continue right here and once,we are on this page the ad group name is,basically the interest name so whatever,you target let's say you target dog,owners or cat lovers you're gonna put,cat lovers or dog owners or whatever,interest you target but for tick tock,specifically i like to go broad so i'm,going to leave this as broad and then,i'll show you guys how to target,interests later down the line so for the,website we're going to want to create a,tick tock pixel i already have two,pixels right here but if you created a,new ad account you won't have a pixel so,we're going to want to create one and in,order to do that you just want to click,that button click set up web events or,create pixel tick tock pixel click next,and you want to name your pixel i'm,going to put three and then click this,second option right here click shopify,click next and you should be taken to a,different page where you're just going,to spam next a bunch of times so,complete setup and we should be good to,go now in order to install this you can,actually get an app called tick tock on,the shopify app store and then just,pretty much log in with your tick tock,account details now personally on some,of my stores i don't even install pixels,and i just go based off of different,metrics like the ctr cpm cost per click,but if you want to install a pixel you,guys can pretty much do it through,shopify or by installing it with code so,now once our pixel is set up you guys,can go back to the tick tock page right,here open this up and we have our third,pixel that we just created right here,for the optimization of that we want to,click complete payment we don't want any,other people who just go to our site to,add to cart or view the content we want,actual purchasers hence why we choose,this option right here now we want to,scroll down right here and click
