across many ad creatives,that have been,rejected due to various reasons and i'm,here to help you understand some of them,so that when you start your campaign,you're already aware of what not to do,so let's take a look at our first reason,that many ads get rejected,the ads that make exaggerated overstated,or misleading claims about product,performance is clearly,not compliant with our policies like an,ad that says they are going to give,twenty thousand dollars once you sign up,without any proof,or if this particular product says,you're going to lose 15 pounds in one,month,basically any weight loss claims i have,another one too,this product will give you 100,satisfaction in life,these absolute claims are not encouraged,on our platform and our review team,will reject any such ads if you look at,the caption in the first one it says 100,natural herbal cream number one of the,whole world,absolute terms and the second one says,use this service and get married,in three days well that's not okay,now let's talk about the second reason,that ads get rejected,which is if ads show products or,services from a prohibited industry,i have seen a lot of ads get rejected,for this particular reason,it's really important for you to know,the list of prohibited,items from your own market tick tock has,always maintained,very strong policies for an authentic,and safe user experience,which is why we don't allow items like,illegal drugs or,adult content you can have a look at the,whole list,if you visit the help center link in,your ads platform,the first part contains the products or,services which are currently prohibited,in all countries and regions like,cigarettes weapons gambling political,ads and more,and the second part contains the list,from various different markets,now we come to the third reason and this,is important guys,if the products and prices in the ads,are not consistent or relevant to the,products and prices on the promoted,website,the ad will be rejected for example,if the product shown in the ad creative,is different,than from the landing page or the price,shown in the creative is,inconsistent with the price on the,website then our review team,rejects the ad in the first creative the,ad,introduces a facial essence for oily,skin in the video but,shows a car on the website the second ad,states a discount of,up to 30 percent off but on the website,you can see,up to 50 percent off and then in the,third one the website is too vague to,determine,if there is any relevancy at all,moving on to the next one the promoted,website does not function properly or,does not contain information required by,local regulations,this is another common reason for,rejection,for example websites that don't open,properly,websites that are not mobile friendly,websites that don't contain the contact,information of the seller,or websites without a clearly stated,refund or return policy,we at tick tock ensure that it's not,just the ad creative that is important,but also the website that you are,promoting and that should comply with,the local rules so as to safeguard our,users,moving on the next reason has to do with,issues of the ads,texts or captions for example ads with,spelling errors,excessive or distracting capitalization,of certain words,or using symbols in place of letters,there could also be issues like,incomplete texts and videos,grammar mistakes or text logos that have,been covered by stickers,check this out first we have the,incorrect spelling of the word sale,and also notice certain letters are,capitalized and taking,there's a lot of you know charlatan,schemes out there and stuff of that,nature,so again this is a protected agents,against that so they're gonna err on the,side of caution when it comes to that,now when you think about the next reason,okay so the next reason,is going to be your text and your,caption right so make sure you're,texting your caption is,done properly there is no kind of,there's no um,like weird instances of you know having,like uh different characters and stuff,of that nature that should not be in,there like false links,or something of that nature that would,give that false indication of that,right so tick tock does give the,variability to have your ad,in an ad quality of a video go directly,to your url if you're going to a landing,page or,something selling something that's not,like a product service,e-commerce or whatever the case may be,right so you don't,have to go ahead and spam the algorithm,of that nature so that's,what this is basically doing is saying,don't falsify stuff don't do,grammar mistakes and stuff like that,don't really indicate,different things so make sure your stuff,is done properly so when you make your,creative make sure that's done,right the next is going to be video,quality there are highly,obviously this is this is a video based,atmosphere right so video quality,and your image quality is going to very,much be,very hey welcome back this is just going to,be a really quick short video i've had a,few comments from some of you asking,about the payment issue on tick tock ads,so in this video i'm just going to take,you through the issues that i've had the,issues that i've faced and the solutions,that i've found so far,and obviously you can go ahead and try,all of these i'm not sure whether,they're all going to work but some of,them worked for me,so the main issue that a lot of you are,referring to is the fact that your tick,tock ads aren't spending so,first thing that i recommend you do when,you get a new tick tock ad account this,is a new one that i created my last one,got suspended from the challenge that,i'm doing so i've put that on pause for,a bit and i'm testing out this new,account,and,same thing happened first day ads,wouldn't spend so here's what you want,to need here's what you need to do to,get ads to spend so you've just created,a new tips i've had account it's in,whatever country and currency you've got,your card linked and you want to set up,some complete payment ad sets but those,ad sets aren't spending you know usually,what happens is this is because either,it takes a while for them to approve,your ads and sort of verify that you're,a trustworthy person or it's because of,some issue with the fact that your ads,aren't yet approved even though tick,tock says your ads are approved what i,recommend you do is you create new,campaign,much like this one so this is just a,normal campaign i think this is just a,conversion campaign yeah it's just a,conversion campaign but the optimization,of these ad sets are different so,usually obviously we'd be going for,complete purchase so a complete payment,you can see this one i've gone for view,content and this one here is an add to,cart conversion so neither of these two,are the final one that i want to be,going for and you can see,out of the two the view content was the,one that spent the most and then the uh,add to cart one didn't start spending,and then it took a while and then,gradually it's got a bit of spend,um,so what's actually happened here is,for some reason i don't know why it,pushes it through tick tock's algorithm,quicker so as soon as you get a view,content one spending then the add to,cart one will start spending once that,started spending you'll then see the,complete payment ones started spending,so to give you an idea,of when all of this happened i think it,was towards the end of last week,i set these ads up so we'll have a look,on the must be the 27th,first day of having this account,27th to the 27th,and you can see in the first day ten,dollars were spent 2.25 and if we look,at the other campaigns that i had set up,so this here is a complete payment,complete payment campaign so out of the,two this audience this started spending,759 dollars by the end of the day it,started spending a bit more budget,if we look at the cbo test that only,spent five cents that's at fifty dollars,per day,uh and what i did to get that up is i,then set up this traffic campaign as,well so i was just testing out multiple,different things so you can see i spent,uh almost nine dollars on traffic uh,which is this is just a traffic,converter it's not conversion it's just,traffic uh we'll have a look here,it's just a traffic ad,um so that's set up nine dollars and,then also the ad to cart one also spent,about 12.87 and a little bit on the um,view content uh and then obviously after,that started happening then the spend,started to increase so the 28th which is,obviously the friday let's have a look,at the results for this day,okay so on this day you can now see i,turned off these initial campaigns and,there wasn't any point keeping the,spending,uh and then on the next day the,conversion rate um,sorry the complete payment audience test,started spending now this is 20 per day,so it's only spent 10.45 so it's still,not reaching its maximum spend but it is,spending some money they also the cost,per click was horrendously high for this,day,you can also see the cbo only spent,three dollars on this day so it's still,pretty poor performance but we are,starting to get some spending happening,we look on the 29th,around the 29th,and you can see here now we're starting,to get to the realms where things are,actually working a lot better,so third day,the audience test 14.76 spent out of the,total twenty dollars uh good cost per,clicks now good cards good checkouts i,think there were a couple of conversions,but nothing actually tracked on ads and,that could have come through organic,traffic from my our last um,ad account,so,that's obviously started spending and,then the cbo's also started spending and,then i think uh yesterday i actually,turned off the ads uh just because the,performance wasn't the best but at least,that was tracking yeah so i turned off,the ads so yesterday they didn't run but,that gives you an idea of how things,worked out uh obviously you just set up the perfect campaign you,put your audiences together you finally,launched your ads and nothing,your ads aren't spending on tick tock,what is the problem how do you fix it,and i'm going to cover that exact,solution,what's up y'all it's chase chapel here,and it's your favorite digital marketer,where we cover tick tock ads and,facebook ad strategies and i'm going to,be showing you today exactly how you can,get your tick tock ads to start,delivering a lot of you might think that,you set up the perfect campaign did all,of the right steps but come to find out,your ads just aren't spending and you,want them to deliver so that way you can,start to get sales and i keep getting,this question through instagram and my,dms at real chase chapel where y'all are,asking why your ads aren't delivering so,without further ado let's go ahead and,jump into it alright so what you're,going to do is you're going to jump into,your tick tock ads manager and we're,going to go through and create a,campaign so that way we can make sure,you did all of the correct steps so that,way your ads can start delivering and,we're going to troubleshoot why your ads,might not be delivering so that way you,can get them to deliver and achieve,sales first thing we're going to do is,hit the create button and this is going,to create a campaign,and we're going to go ahead and,select a conversions campaign if you're,optimizing for purchases this is what,you would do and then we're going to go,ahead and hit continue and if you're,using an actual tick tock pixel you're,going to want to make sure you have one,set up because you're going to need to,make sure it's active if you have an,inactive pixel with no recent activity,that is one reason your ads might not be,delivering so first you want to make,sure you have an active,tick-tock pixel and if you use shopify,you'll use the shopify integration to,integrate that if you use another,website see if tic-tac actually allows,you to integrate so that way you can,make sure your pixel is active once your,pixel is active you want to make sure,you choose an optimization event it's,important to choose an optimization,event because this is what you're going,to be optimizing for to get results so,if you want purchases then you're going,to want to optimize for purchases now an,important play here is,sometimes people are going to recommend,you to if you're not getting delivery,they might say well rather than just,optimizing for complete payment which is,purchases you should optimize for add to,cart because you can get those events i,wouldn't follow that advice that is just,so not true if you want purchases you,need to optimize for purchases the last,thing you need is to be optimizing for,add to carts and getting that exact,thing and not actually seeing sales from,your results just because your ads might,deliver with add to carts doesn't mean,you should be doing so because you can,guarantee your ads will deliver by,choosing complete payment if you know,exactly how to create a tick tock ad,that actually converts and that will,allow you to get delivery so if you,truly do want purchases make sure to,choose complete payment because you,don't want to choose any other event if,you're already going to be optimizing,for sales,the next thing is you're going to select,the placements,and you're going to want to make sure,you're only delivering to tick-tock,because the video we're going to be,using is for the tick-tock placement,we're going to be running ads in the us,in this case so we want to make sure,we're delivering there and then we're,going to go ahead and you know leave,these two other settings on,and we're going to go ahead and leave,our targeting to 18 plus for this,specific,product service we're promoting and then,the main thing is your ads might not be,delivering due to audience size if your,audiences are way too small you might,not be seeing delivery,you want to make sure you have an,audience size that is more than at least,you know a few million people up to 10,million people that is a good audience,size 10 million plus is great 60 million,is fine we see great results with that,and get plenty of delivery that way so,you're going to want to make sure that,you don't over narrow your audience so,usually it's best just to accept the you,know initial recommendations that tic,toc gives you so that way you can get,the best results the system is getting,better by the day so highly recommend to,you know go with the actual suggestion,that they have and this is going to give,you an audience size that will allow you,to get delivery so that will rule out,not only the pixel but the audience as,well the next thing is your daily budget,so you're going to set a 20 daily budget,that's the minimum you have to spend in,order for delivery to happen,now,some of you might not be getting,delivery due to the actual ad schedule,you want to make sure your ad,runs at the hi everybody this is ian lamont author,of flea media and the founder of two,e-commerce businesses an amazon seller,for many years and also i op i operate a,shopify store and i've recently,connected it with with tiktok so i can,run tick tock ads and also have a tick,tock account for my business,i've discovered in the catalog manager,that there's a problem when some of your,products are synced to tick tock that it,automatically rejects them for various,reasons sometimes the reasons are,legitimate sometimes not so taking a,look at these products that we have we,have 68 items total and you can see most,of them say available for tick tock,marketing and tick tock tick tock,shopping and it says in stock sometimes,you'll see one that says it says it's in,stock but it says unavailable,and this means it's been rejected for,some reason and actually if we go to the,third page,of my items you can see that almost all,of them are unavailable there's just a,few that are available most are,unavailable and here's how to appeal,their automated,removal from your catalog so just click,on the name of the product,and you'll see in the right corner here,your advertised product has been,suspended it might have been disabled,due to violation of our advert,advertising policies and if you click on,the policy it'll show all kinds of scary,language about the stuff that they do,not want you advertising or even,including in the catalog and these are,things like uh weapons um you know,prohibited items like you know drugs,uh,maybe there's some ish issue with uh,animal parts and things like that and of,course we're not selling anything like,that actually let's just scroll down and,see some of the crazy things you know,adult sexual products police military,gears political ads so these are things,that we're not doing and we're not in a,restricted industry i mean we're,basically selling something that,genealogists use it's nothing it's,nothing illegal or anything like that so,to appeal click on the button that says,appeal,and then you have to,click on continue,and then they'll say,reason for appeal so what i do is i,actually have,a quick,a quick uh,explanation of why my product is not,illegal it's genealogy stationary made,of paper it's for people researching,family trees i make it clear that it's,not a forbidden product or forbidden,industry and it's not violating,tick-tock policies i just copy that and,then i paste it over into reason for,appeal and the reason why i just copy,and paste is because i have to do this,over and over again because many of my,products were rejected that way and then,i click appeal,and so i found that currently this is in,early 2022 it takes about two or three,hours for them to review the appeal i,don't know if it's automated or they,actually try to have human beings,looking at it,but in this case all of my older items,that i've appealed already almost all of,them have been successful there's been a,few that are not i'll have to look into,those later on but this makes it,possible now for me to advertise these,products for more information on how to,get the most out of your shopify store,selling on amazon,you know,using amazon advertising marketing i,have all kinds of videos about this if,you go to leanmedia.org,click on video or blog you'll see some,of these posts that i have and also if,you're following this on youtube if you,could like the video and then follow,subscribe to the lean media channel i'd,greatly appreciate that and i usually,release a new video about once or twice,a week this is ian lamont signing off,thank you so much for watching

hey guys welcome back this is pretty,much a second part of um the tick tock,ad strategy that i have made the first,video you probably most likely watched,the video if you're listening to this,video,so in that video what i mainly did was,just gave you guys an intro how to get,things set up,and so there's some of you guys that are,you know doing like 50 bucks now 20,bucks you know some couple conversions a,day,um but pretty much what i'm gonna do,here is i'm gonna split into two videos,uh sorry two sections the first one is,going to be how to set up rules,it pretty much helps you scale and then,number two is how to scale,but before we get into scaling,the ad that you started running on the,first video you have to let that run for,at least five days i know i didn't make,that very clear at least five to seven,days just let it run if it's losing you,money it's fine let it run the pixel,needs to learn pretty much the pixel,understands who clicks on it who,converts on it and the more conversions,you start getting even though you're,losing money tick tock is understanding,okay i need to deliver this ad to people,that are 45 and are looking for a loan,right so it kind of figures that on your,own so you kind of have to give it a,little bit of grace and do a little bit,of investing in order to really see some,results so after that period this is,what you're going to do now so you've,made a tick tock you ran you got,conversions it's been five days now,you're kind of breaking even making,money that's exactly where you want to,be so now this is what we're gonna do so,the first part is pretty much,um,setting up rules,and um let's actually get into the setup,rules and then i'll dive in to do a,little kind of what's going on in my ad,account so,pretty much when you what you want to do,with rules,is,what they're meant to do is pretty much,making you from stop losing money,um setting,up your ads to,reset every day so i mean like here,so here's the first rule no results stop,loss so,pretty simple it says if the total cost,of the ad group,is greater than ten dollars,and the results is less than one turn it,off so what it's saying is like hey if,you spent more than ten dollars on an ad,group and it's not bringing you a,conversion so it's not bringing you any,money turn it off and usually ten,dollars is enough to understand if it's,so this is i mean here i'll edit it just,so you guys could see so pretty simple,remember you want to do this,all active ad groups,right you know here i could just even go,to create one,so i'll do all active ad groups,if total cost of each object today so,you want to specify this today is,greater than ten dollars,and,the results so you don't want to turn,everything off that spent more than ten,dollars you want to turn off
