it's the refined reseller thank you for,tuning in to my youtube channel so you,sell an item on ebay you ship it out,tracking shows the item was delivered,then you get a message from the buyer,saying they never received the item how,do you handle that situation well in,this video i tell you exactly what you,need to do so check it out,so i've seen this question asked a,number of times on ebay seller facebook,groups and yes this has happened to me,and here's the good news for you as an,ebay seller if tracking shows the item,was delivered almost all of the time,ebay will rule in your favor that is it,will rule in the seller's favor so let's,say the buyer opens an item not received,request you the seller will get a,message from ebay and in that message,you will be given three options,option number one add tracking details,option number two refund the buyer,option number three send a message to,the buyer so at this point you need to,select number one and add the tracking,number to prove that it was delivered,you also have the option of sending a,message to the buyer which you should do,and it should read something like this,thanks for letting me know i did,everything required of me as an ebay,seller i shipped the item out the next,day with tracking tracking shows the,item was delivered it is now out of my,hands i suggest you ask your mail,carrier if he recalls delivering it or,go to the post office and ask if they,can provide assistance in finding your,item thanks and have a great day,now you will have three business days to,resolve the issue after that time either,you are the buyer can ask ebay to step,in and help resolve the issue please,note when a buyer opens a request the,funds related to the sale may be put on,hold once the issue is resolved the hold,is lifted and you'll receive your funds,in your next scheduled payout,and if i were you i would go another,step further i would call ebay and yes,you can call ebay ebay support the phone,number is 877-322-9227,tell them tracking shows the item was,delivered and get them to assure you the,case will be closed in your favor if,ebay closes the case in your favor which,they should do the case will be closed,immediately and there is nothing else,that you need to do if in the unlikely,case ebay rules in the buyer's favor,ebay will issue them a full refund and,then seek reimbursement from you,you won't receive a final value fee,credit if this happens and you may also,receive a defect which may affect your,seller standards,if you don't agree with the decision,you can appeal it by providing new,information within 30 days of the case,being closed and that's really all you,should have to do because here's the,truth sure there's a very very slight,possibility the united states postal,service ups or fedex did not deliver,that package but it's highly unlikely,and the reason is whenever that delivery,person drops off that package they,actually scan it at that time,so who knows the buyer's neighbor could,have stolen it the dog could have walked,off with it i mean it could have,happened if the buyer lives in an,apartment complex it could have been,delivered to the wrong mailbox or it,could have been delivered to a similar,address i happen to get mail from a very,similar address to mine it usually,happens two or three times a year let's,just say i live at 110 red oak street,and i get mail for 110 oak street it,does happen and one more thing to,consider the buyer could be lying in,conclusion if tracking shows it was,delivered in ebay's eyes it was,delivered so ebay will close the case in,the seller's favor and the seller will,not have to issue a refund that's all i,have for you today i really hope you,found this video informative if you did,i hope you consider liking this video,subscribing to my channel and clicking,the notification bell so you'll be,notified when i post a new video this is,the refined reseller saying as always do,like me buy low sell high good sourcing,good selling and i'll see you next time
