Christian here.,Did you know your U2 subscribers,can buy your Shopify products,right from here?,Yes.,Shopify and YouTube recently,announced a new partnership.,Find out,more details on this video.,Today,,every business is focused,on one thing,and that is connecting,with their audience.,Meaningful engagement,with your customers,is no longer a nice to have.,It's actually a necessity.,So this shift has put content,at the center,of brand interactions,and given the rise,of the creator economy,,basically blurring the lines,between merchants and creators,and content,creators are actually,selling goods, building,fully realized brands,and direct to consumer merchants,are creating content,as a way to find and engage,with new customers.,So now Shopify,and YouTube are partnering,to give merchants and creators,a powerful new way to connect,consumers, build their businesses,,and be able to share their stories,that actually really, really cool.,With the launch of the YouTube,and Shopify integrations.,Merchants can easily integrate,their online store,with the biggest,entertainment platform on YouTube.,It reaches over 2 billion,monthly logged end users.,And imagine,just being able to tap into that.,Obviously,,not every channel has,2 billion viewers, but,you have the opportunity,to tap into into that audience,in a way,that you haven't,been able to do before.,So let's talk a little bit deeper,into three ways,that you can sell now on YouTube.,Number one, it's,going to be live streams.,Yeah. Live streams.,Livestream is actually something,that we as a channel,and as a company talk about a lot,with companies like Common Sold,or Buy It Live,,where customers,can actually watch a live video,and just purchase,right from within their right.,These platforms, though, focus,heavily on Facebook,and using the Facebook,integrations and still,,you know,,connecting to two Channel,five store sometimes.,So but with live streams.,With this YouTube,and Shopify integration,,merchants can tag and pin,products at key points,during a live stream.,And a picture in picture playback,means consumers can watch,while they actually check out.,So this is actually very,,very powerful.,We've seen Livestream,be something,that has revolutionized,the way that some businesses,are selling online.,And it's had,it's helped them out a lot,,especially during the pandemic,,where no one was able,to necessarily,go to brick and mortar stores,live selling.,It just took a huge boom online.,And a lot of consumers,are already pretty used to,these live sales.,Even Amazon is doing testing,with live selling Pinterest.,Almost every social platform,is doing,some sort of live selling.,And now YouTube has partnered,with the best e-commerce,platform out there with a Shopify.,And I think they're going,to do great things with this.,And you as a creator,are going to do,great things with it.,Besides livestreams,,you can also,do just regular videos,so merchants,can show a curated list,of products,in a product shelf,just below on demand videos.,So you can actually,pick and choose,which videos,and have your products.,Again, hand-picked products,show right below.,As you can see here on screen,,you can see some examples of that.,Beyond that,,you can also share,products on the store tab.,So a new tab,will be,added to a merchant's,YouTube channel,featuring the entire selection,of products.,Again, it's,whatever you select,inside of Shopify,as these products,I want to showcase,on to my YouTube channel,or the Google sales channel.,Hey, before we move,on, I just want to say,my name is Christian Pinion,,one of the co-founders,here at the Branding.,We're an e-commerce,growth industry,that specializes,in helping clothing,stores grow and scale,profitably online.,We drop new videos every week,,so make sure that you hit,unsubscribe button,and turn on notifications,so you don't miss out.,Okay, now,you may have a YouTube channel,,you may have a Shopify store,,and you probably are excited,that you've heard,about this new integration.,But you also need to make sure,that you're eligible.,So how to know if you're eligible,to sell your products on YouTube?,So to promote your own products,across YouTube,,you have to have,these minimum requirements.,Number one,,you are based in a country,or region,where the YouTube partner,program is available,and your channel has been approved,for monetization.,Very, very important.,Number two,,your channel has more,than a thousand subscribers,or you are an official artist,channel.,Number three,,your channel audience isn't set,as made for kids,and your channel doesn't,have significant number of videos,set as made for kids.,And then also,,your channel doesn't have,a significant number of videos,that violate,the channel monetization policies.,So your channel hasn't received,any hate speech,,community guidelines,strikes as well.,So all of these things are very,,very important,in order to make sure,that you have,this available for you.,Hey, I want to let you in,on a little secret.,We're using a tool,called Triple Flow,for all of our client and group,coaching members.,And this tool allows us to see,a lifetime value for a customer,at 30, 60 and 90 days.,But we're also very excited about,a tool called,the Estimated Action of Customer.,So imagine,being able to,send out emails,or run ad campaigns to customers,who are likely to buy from you,that second or third time.,And knowing when to send out these,marketing messages is very,,very powerful.,Travel allows you,to centralize,all of your tools and metrics,from all those different places,right into one place.,You need to check them out,,check the link in the description,below.,All right,,let's go into Shopify,to see how we can connect,Shopify with your YouTube channel.,All right.,So we're here on the,Shopify dashboard,and there's actually,they've changed a little bit on,how you do these sales channels,and how they think they treat them,as apps now.,So anytime that you go to,sales channel,and you try to find a sales,channel here, let's go find,Google is going to take you,to the actual app store. Yeah.,See where you'll see the shot,,the Google Channel in here.,So obviously, Google owns YouTube.,So this is the main way to,to connect both.,If you go through this way,,you'll just add the app,and go this way.,You can also go to your,YouTube channel,,go to that monetization,tab on the left hand side,,and then you'll see,the new shopping tab within there.,And then you can click on,Connect the Store,and then go to Shopify.,But once you click on there,and continue,,it will actually take you,to the same spot.,So you can do either or.,Let me go back over here.,That's at the app.,Then once you,get into this page out,here, there's going to be,a few requirements by Google.,They obviously want to make sure,that you're a legitimate business,and that you have,everything in place for us,right now.,Looks like we need the refund,policy terms of service included,,and that we need to confirm,that we've added,contact information,to our online store.,Again, they want to make sure,and double down,right on the fact,that you're a legitimate business,,that you're,offering all these policies,and you have a way for for people,to actually contact you, etc..,So we you take care of these,and then come back.,We've also inserted,our number in there,and then we just,click on the checkbox,and then complete setup.,Now this is a first time,,you know, we're setting the Google,sales channel.,So if you already have,the Google sales channel,,then you,didn't have to necessarily,go through all that process.,But now inside of that,Google sales channel,,you'll see this YouTube,tab in here.,We'll assess the YouTube shopping,,then we're going,to click on Get Started.,And then again here,,it will make the same requirements,that I was just talking about,with not made for kids,,make sure they have,a thousand subscribers,,make sure that you're,in our country,,that it's eligible for that.,When you click Continue.,Okay.,Read these terms,and then complete setup.,And there we have it.,So now we have our bit,branding YouTube channel,connected to our Shopify store.,Now all we have to do,is make sure that our products,are set for to be available,so we can actually do that,right within here.,Obviously, Google actually,looks into your products,to make sure that they're eligible,to be on on their platform.,Essentially.,And then we're actually tell you,if there are,any errors, obviously,,because this is a play store,for us,,we probably don't have,the right requirements,necessarily set right here.,But they will tell you,exactly what what it is.,So, for example,,on this particular product,,it says price isn't valid,,price must be greater than zero.,So because,we've been testing around,and playing with these,some of these product,,it will tell you things like that.,Let me just kind of,look at this one,description as required for this.,So you need to make sure they,have a description,laid out,for some of these products.,Again, they want to make sure,that the experience,for the customer is ideal, right?,So having a title pricing product,description,,all these,things are going,to be very important.,And obviously at the end of,the day, if you go back to,our products here,,I'm going to click on,just one of them.,You want to make sure that,the sales channels over here,that you're able to manage them,and make sure,that Google is basically,a check mark,to be available,on that sales channel.,Essentially,,now, if you go,this route right with the product,,this will also tell you the error,and why it's yellow for for again,,this one price is valid,is invalid,because the price,must be greater than zero.,Again, going,back to the sales channel,and going back to Google,,this is how you,make that initial connection.,Obviously, we'll have to make sure,that the products are in place.,So we may make a part to,making sure,that we get these products,shown inside of YouTube.,I'm going to go back to YouTube,over here and just refresh this,and see,what if it actually recognizes,the connection,that's already been made.,Okay, perfect.,So as you can see,here, under the shopping tab,,it says Product Shopify.,I have no products right now,,but,I promise to perfect,this product,on channel Crazy on selection,and let's go and see that new tab.,That's something that I did talk,about earlier in the video.,It's that YouTube,automatically adds a new tab.,So as you can see right here,within your YouTube,channel homepage,,you have that store tab in here.,Obviously,,because we don't have,any products, then,no products are going to show,right here.,But that's essentially where,that will go.,All right.,Again, hopefully this was,educational for you.,I know we didn't,necessarily,get to have the products in place,,but we'll have to,just make sure,that we get those requirements,for for our products.,And then again,,just select the products,that we want to showcase,on our YouTube channel.,So you might start,seeing some products down below.,We don't know.,We'll see.,Again, this is all,just for play for us,,but we might essentially,have a little bit of merch, right?,So you guys can actually,support us,and be able to maybe shop,for
