let's get started in integrating,paypal's pay flow pro into shopify so we,want to go at the bottom left,click on settings,then click on payments,if you already have shopify payments or,any other payment provider listed up top,we're going to want to deactivate it,another very important step before,enabling pay flow is if you already have,paypal payments enabled in shopify just,as you see with me here,you must deactivate it first,otherwise the paypal option with pay,flow will not work so let's go ahead and,first deactivate this as we will,reactivate it later on inside of the pay,flow,settings click on deactivated,now express checkout has been,deactivated if you already had express,checkout deactivated to begin with you,can activate it inside of pay flow let's,go ahead and move on to deactivating,shopify payments we can click on manage,and scroll to the very bottom usually,it's at the bottom you'll see a red,button deactivate whichever payment,provider you have,shopify is unique in that it does not,allow you to save a new payment gateway,until the previous one is completely,deactivated leaving you with no payment,gateway in the interim and your website,unable to take payments until the new,payment provider has been saved,to avoid this let's go ahead and go to,the bottom left right click on settings,click on new tab so that we can work on,that second tab,on the second tab let's go ahead and,click on payments one more time we can,go back to the gateway that you have,enabled and click on manage,next to the deactivate option at the,bottom we want to click on switch to a,third party provider,you will get a notice it's important to,note that this notice will not,deactivate shopify payments or whoever,your gateway is on the spot it will just,send you to the new third-party provider,payments list so let's go ahead and,click on this,in this list we're going to search for,pay flow,and there should be only one result,let's click on that,we can scroll down to,the account information section go ahead,and type your pay flow credentials,in the next section you can deactivate,cards based on your preference or based,on whatever agreement you have in your,pay flow account,keep in mind that if you have this shop,pay option here that will enable or,re-enable shopify payments and it will,override the pay flow pro option if your,customers decide to use that shop pay,option the next section we can enable,test mode if you want to do sandbox,testing but for the most part we will do,production so we'll leave this unchecked,as we said before,paypal payments comes bundled in with,payflow so you want to make sure that,you enable this now that the standalone,option for paypal payments was already,disabled,if the paypal option was still enabled,and you try to activate payflow with,this paypal option you will get an error,it has to be disabled first,lastly we want to answer shopify's,survey here with your appropriate answer,before we click on activate or,reactivate paypal payflow pro we want to,go back to that first tab and now we,want to deactivate shopify payments so,go ahead and click on it'll ask you the,same survey you can answer the same,thing and then deactivate shopify,payments,once you see it's reloaded we want to go,back to the second tab,and now click on activate pay flow,and that's it you have now successfully,activated pay flow pro into your shopify,store,you
