right how much does a successful Tick,Tock ad campaign cost well we're going,to dive into my screen here I'm going to,share with you guys one particular,campaign that has been working,phenomenally well for one of our Tick,Tock clients we actually generated 51,book calls so one thing to understand is,that this account is for a book called,funnel this is the main kpis sales are,just part of the process we obviously,are want to add optimize for sales but,book calls is what we're going after,here so I'm just going to quickly talk,about this because you know it's a,question of how much do I need to spend,on Tick Tock right that's the answer,that you want is how much should I spend,on take that home how much do I need in,terms of budget to be able to make Tick,Tock work for my brand and that's,actually going to depend right and I,know that's not the best answer right,it's a cop-out answer is oh it depends,but in reality that's that's what it is,right so what type of offer do you have,is it an e-commerce offer do you have a,high ticket offer such as this one that,I'm displaying right here is for a high,ticket offer okay uh is your offer local,right so there are different things,there are different kpis different,objectives that will let's say give you,Clarity in terms of the budget and how,to budget for these campaigns so one is,not going to be the right answer to,every single offer on Tick Tock so I can,only speak of maybe from our experience,what has been let's say the a driver for,success in terms of this Tick Tock,campaign and maybe how much was spent,but you should really do an analysis of,you know what your numbers are and I,think that's the better answer for for,this is what are your numbers what's,your average order value would your,customer lifetime value what is your,minimal cost per acquisition that you,can get right that you need to get by,right so like if you're over twenty,dollars GPA and you're losing money then,what's the point right so you need to,really understand uh your numbers before,you can answer that question so you know,I can quickly share with you guys here I,mean this is six sales for example 22,900 in Revenue but these are sales that,are hired on the higher ticket side,and this is 51 calls right so obviously,from the 51 calls six sales took place,you know we're getting leads for 21,right so like for other people like 20,leads may not be uh profitable right,that may not be ideal uh they would need,to get three dollar leads five dollar,leads which is possible with Tick Tock,but you can see here the spend is six,thousand two hundred and twenty three,dollars that's how much it took for us,to actually get this to work right this,is the lifetime hey guys before we,continue with the see,the active visitors we have 1.1 k as,well as 30 000,in sales just for today and here's also,one of the other stores we did around,60k in november and going on into,december we pulled out around and all that but once,you're filling all that out you should,land on a page like this so this is an,existing ad account i have obviously,we're going to want to go ahead and,select conversions right here and then,for the campaign name you're going to,put whatever the product name is but i'm,just going to put one for the sake of,this video and then you don't want to,touch any of these these are for,different strategies and actually do use,these options but we're not going to do,that in this case specifically so we're,gonna hit continue right here and once,we are on this page the ad group name is,basically the interest name so whatever,you target let's say you target dog,owners or cat lovers you're gonna put,cat lovers or dog owners or whatever,interest you target but for tick tock,specifically i like to go broad so i'm,going to leave this as broad and then,i'll show you guys how to target,interests later down the line so for the,website we're going to want to create a,tick tock pixel i already have two,pixels right here but if you created a,new ad account you won't have a pixel so,we're going to want to create one and in,order to do that you just want to click,that button click set up web events or,create pixel tick tock pixel click next,and you want to name your pixel i'm,going to put three and then click this,second option right here click shopify,click next and you should be taken to a,different page where you're just going,to spam next a bunch of times so,complete setup and we should be good to,go now in order to install this you can,actually get an app called tick tock on,the shopify app store and then just,pretty much log in with your tick tock,account details now personally on some,of my stores i don't even install pixels,and i just go based off of different,metrics like the ctr cpm cost per click,but if you want to install a pixel you,guys can pretty much do it through,shopify or by installing it with code so,now once our pixel is set up you guys,can go back to the tick tock page right,here open this up and we have our third,pixel that we just created right here,for the optimization of that we want to,click complete payment we don't want any,other people who just go to our site to,add to cart or view the content we want,actual purchasers hence why we choose,this option right here now we want to,scroll down right here and click hey guys it's nina zado with sidewalker,daily and in today's video i want to,talk about tick-tock sponsorships what,you should be thinking about when you,are charging a potential sponsor and,also why tick-tock sponsors like just,technically pay lower than every other,platform but i will also be giving you,things that you can do to help,fix that so that you can charge more,okay so let's go ahead and just dive in,um if you're new to our channel really,quick just a little quick background i,do influencer campaigns for brands so,brands hire me and our agency to run,their influencer marketing i work with,ticktackers youtubers instagramers we,pay them for their content um or their,influence and believe it or not there,are differences in that but for today's,video i kind of want to share like the,brand's perspective on why tick tockers,have gotten paid less just so you guys,can kind of see that perspective but,also share with you what i would do if i,was you to get more money out of the,deal now when it comes to rates honestly,you can read so much stuff on the,internet,every brand is going to have their own,way to value your content right so like,at sidewalker we have our own formula we,have our own system to do we teach that,in our pitching course because we think,it's not just a number of impressions or,views and putting it into a math,equation we think that you can probably,charge whatever you want based on so,many factors right like a tick tock,video in your bathroom is very different,than if you have to like go to times,square set up a tripod like film an,eight hour day of content so those are,obviously things that you need to take,into account but when it comes to,getting paid ticktackers are seeing,anywhere from 200 a post to obviously,like 20 000 a post or more because of,things like followers engagement also,take talkers who can show their brand,partners results like hey i'm able to,track the sales of what i've been able,to do to you or give them a case study,those are the creators that can charge,more now a lot of times the way the math,is done,is based on impressions so brands will,pay anywhere from five to ten dollars,for a thousand impressions a thousand,views but on tick tock it's lower than,that like sometimes a penny or two,pennies like two cents of you and,there's a few reasons why so,for one brands still are not fully on,the tick tock train they're still,hesitant they haven't been able to grasp,like roi it's relatively a new platform,compared to something like instagram,because it's just like the number of,users now for us being in the creator,economy we're like tick tock is where,it's at like what are the brands,thinking but remember it takes them a,little bit longer to join and to be able,to see the data to convince them to,really do so that's why if you are,pitching to a brand and let's just say,you have instagram sponsorships already,and your creator that has you know maybe,other sponsorships maybe it's on youtube,or instagram you can go to your brand,partner and say hey have you guys done,anything on tick tock yet and if they,haven't working with you on another,platform like instagram or youtube can,give them the confidence to try,tick-tock out with you and see the,amazing results so it's actually a,win-win if you're working with a brand,that doesn't have a lot of tick tock,experience but you've already worked,with them in the past because you can,kind of hand hold them through that,process another big reason brands tend,to just you know pay less for tick tock,is because it is really hard for a brand,to get like their messaging across in 15,seconds right like how can you really,show a product or you know get someone,to like swipe up and click and buy and,all the things that a brand may be,looking for well what i would suggest,for you as the creator is when you're,selling to the brand sell them a package,so a lot of instagramers when it comes,to stories they don't just sell one,story like one 15 second story they do,them in sets right so they'll say like,it's three stories or five stories you,could do the same sort of thing on tick,tock sell a brand instead of saying hey,i'm gonna just send you sell you one,tick tock video for 200 bucks i'll sell,you you know five and maybe you include,like a little bit of a discount so that,they're you know feel excited about,buying a little bit more of a package,you can also explain to your brand,partner that three videos on your tick,tock page they will be dripped out so,it's not all at once so maybe it's over,three months and you do one a month or,three weeks one a week depending on how,much content obviously you post but this,is how you should be thinking as a tick,tocker you know that is growing in the last 90 days i've spent over 600,000,on tick tock ads with our clients and,every day we're migrating more and more,budget over from facebook to tick tock,and in today's video i'm going to be,covering the top five ways you can learn,from the lessons that i have after,spending six hundred thousand dollars on,tick tock ads,hello everyone my name is chase chapel,your favorite digital marketer here,let's get into this video so these are,the lessons from spending 600 000,dollars in tick tock ads and i would,have been far better off if i had,already learned these lessons in advance,or had somebody to really guide me,through the process of understanding,what it is that make tick tock ads,convert how to structure the audiences,and all of the learnings that we've had,from other platforms to be able to be,successful on tick tock ads and that's,exactly what i'm going to be doing today,is i'm going to be walking you through,the top five things that are going to,allow you to be successful with tick,tock ads from the things that we've done,after spending 600 000 on tick tock ads,so let's go ahead and jump into the,first thing and start covering some of,the things you impressions from that,amount of spending about 2 million,clicks overall and so let's go ahead and,go over the tick tock adds creative best,practices so number one is videos with a,duration of 21 seconds to 34 seconds,have a 280 percent lift and conversion,yes you heard that right 21 seconds to,34 seconds if you literally just have,tick tock ads that are at least 21 to 34,seconds long,you automatically have a competitive,advantage over other tick tock,advertisers and the reason for this lift,and conversions is because that's enough,time for you to deliver information in a,concise way to the actual consumer that,might be purchasing your product or the,business that might actually be you know,choosing to work with your service and,you want to time it between 21 to 34,seconds you don't want it to be overly,long you don't want it to be overly,short,so definitely try to be within this,range because you are going to see much,better conversions by doing so and this,is data that ticktalk actually has from,you know hundreds of thousands of,advertisers that are actually already on,the platform and we're seeing this with,our results too videos that are between,21 to 34 seconds do actually convert,better,and we also see that the 9 16 aspect,ratio does help with lifting conversions,that is vertical video y'all you'll want,to make sure you have vertical video you,don't want to try to apply square video,and have these black spaces in between,the actual video you want to make sure,that these videos are actually vertical,tick tock is a vertical placement so you,want to make sure your content actually,fits for tick tock so make sure you have,a 9x16 aspect ratio in your actual,videos that is simply filming on your,phone that's the best way to do it to,actually keep the vertical video in,check and that resolution is actually,going to be higher and that actually,leads us to the next point if your video,is actually above 720p you're going to,see a 312 lifting conversion so if you,just apply these three things you're,going to see you know 280 lift and 91,left and even up to a 312 percent lift,in conversions by having hd video if you,upload a very low quality video the back,door is this you're likely going to get,much less conversions than other,accounts would and if you have ads that,are actually converting now with a low,quality video well if you just upgrade,the quality you could be seeing much,better conversions at the exact same,cost the next thing is number two and,that's tick tock user generated content,this is very big because you have,branded ads and you have spark ads,branded ads are essentially what you see,here this is an ad by go clove and you,know their shoe brand and they have,these actual you know branded outline,where it has the colors of their blue,they're green and the actual ad and it's,very branded and when you come across it,looks very much so like an ad these,types of ads do work to some degree and,you know do have good conversion rates,depending on you know how they're,actually flexing their brand and,actually driving you know consideration,and actually having people make the,conversion based off of what's actually,in the actual ad and you can see has 57,likes you know people are commenting,that they are interested in the product,which is a good thing but overall we're,seeing much better results with tiktok,spark ads and ugc content where we're,actually using user generated content in,the ads and that is a form of raw video,and user generated content is,essentially content that is created almost every single content creator is,under charging for their content i'm,probably even undercharging but i'm,making this video to just have full,transparency about what it really means,to work with brands and make money from,your content hello if you are new here,welcome my name is kenzie i am the brand,and web designer behind kinsey green,design and if you're not new as always,so happy you're back before i go any,further in this video i do just want to,say that making money from brand deals,and collaborating with brands is,something that i do on the side my,full-time income comes from running my,design studio so i'm not an expert at,content creation and this does not bring,me a full-time income however it does,make me a significant amount of income,on the side which is why i wanted to,create this video and talk about the,different ways you can reach out to,brands and start working with them,whether you have a few hundred followers,or thousands of followers i want to,start this out by talking about the,three different main ways you can start,working with brands the first way is,really simple,they contact you that is basically what,i do for the most part i don't really,pitch myself or do much of anything to,actually reach out to brands and instead,i just wait for them to come to me,because i'm too busy running my design,business to really make time to pitch,myself and actually try and reach out to,brands another way to start working with,brands is to join influencer platforms,such as aspire and activate there's also,a ton of other ones out there however,those two are some of my favorites out,of all of the ones i've tried i am on,both of those platforms but rarely do i,actually get on there and apply for some,of the collaboration opportunities again,just going back to the whole limited,time thing and the other way is for you,to actually directly email brand and,pitch yourself if you want to start,doing this you will need a media kit and,if you are familiar with that term that,is basically a little kit or,presentation that showcases the amount,of followers you have the amount of,engagement you get the demographic you,cater to,and the type of content you create so,when you're pitching yourself and,reaching out to brands asking to,collaborate you have something to show,them that lets them learn a little bit,more about you the type of content they,can expect and ultimately determine if,you're a good fit for that collaboration,obviously as my accounts on social media,have grown i have seen an increase in,brands reaching out to me and i do make,my email readily available for people on,my tic tac profile so when brands come,across my profile and potentially want,to collaborate they can easily find my,email and easily reach out to me,directly about the collaboration i'm now,going to share my current rates at my,current following so as of right now on,tick tock i have about 45 000 followers,and i charge 800,for a tic tac video on instagram i have,about 31 000 followers and over there i,charge 500 for an instagram post and 700,for an instagram reel those are the two,main platforms most brands want to,create content on so that's why i chose,to kind of share those three rates when,working with brands it's always,important to remember that you can,negotiate and you should really aim to,quote them something higher than what,you actually want because typically when,you quote a brand that wants to,collaborate they will come back with a,bit of a lower offer and that's,ultimately how you decide on the total,cost of the collaboration i am also,personally very selective about the,brands that i work with so i don't take,on a lot of collaborations and i only,work with brands that i truly feel a,connection to this helps keep my social,media presence very authentic and gives,me a reason to actually share that brand,and produce content for them now that,i've kind of gone over those things i,want to share something with hey everybody in today's video i want to,show you exactly how much tiktok paid me,for a million views on tick tock,and if you're not familiar with this,tick tock basically has this thing,called the tick tock creator fund,and they paid the content creators on,there a certain amount of money based on,how many views they get,now you do have to apply and you do have,to qualify,to get in but i just made a video on,everything i did to get approved for,that,so watch that if you want to join the,creator fund here i just want to show,you exactly the analytics,of the million views in a couple of days,and then exactly how much they paid for,those views,that match up with those days and with,tick-tock you could use the tick-tock,app here for all of that,and you could use also ticktock.com and,log in,and see some of your analytics on there,so i got 3.8 million views since,i actually joined about seven eight days,ago but a lot of those views were before,i joined the creator fund but here on,the tick tock app basically,if you have a creator account and you,join the fun you,you get this thing called the creator,tools if you jump in here,they have the creator fund over here but,i'll show you the analytics here,so you can see how it matches up with,the video views here so,if you go to this page what i got paid,for was,875 000 views here and 136 here,and 107 so about 1.2 million views,if you add all these up now the problem,is,you do already have to get to a hundred,thousand so the couple bigger viral,videos before that million views like,these two million views,so almost the 2.9 million views before,that didn't get monetized because it,takes a few,days to apply and then to get in after,you go viral for the first time,so let me show you what that adds up to,here under the creator fun tab so today,you can see i got a dollar,so let's look at the dashboard here so,the day,i got accepted for about 200 000 views,i got six dollars and then the day after,that,this is about 875 000 views,about 23. and then the day after that,three dollars so i didn't go viral after,this video i did go viral,multiple times previous to this video,though but i was not,in the tick tock creator fun at that,time so so far,this is about five days worth of revenue,about,36 but i did come up with a pretty good,strategy for going viral so i was able,to do it three times in seven days,but it doesn't happen every single time,and i did make a video on exactly,how i structured my video to go viral,but the real power of tick tock is not,how much they pay you for the creator,fund,it's the ability to go viral get a lot,of viewers and then get people to other,platforms or products or services,so for example what i ended up doing is,i put my youtube,channel here to try to get people to go,to youtube that didn't work so well,though because here's the problem if you,click on this,it opens a browser here so it's really,hard here to subscribe,what you want to do is actually link up,here i did it with instagram where it,takes you directly to instagram,i was able to get a couple of hundred,followers using this method,so i recommend you could link instagram,and youtube here but you could link your,website here so if you have a product or,a service,that's a good place again you need the,creator fund to add that but i want to,make a follow-up video in a few days to,show you a bunch of other ways to make,money on tick tock because the,the fact of the matter is it's so much,easier to go viral on tick-tock than any,other platform,so you could utilize that virality and,not just rely on the creator fund,because as you saw it's not very much,money so it doesn't make sense for,creators to rely on it,but you could rely on that attention and,get people to youtube and other,platforms,that'll follow up in the next upcoming,video and i'm also making a video,comparing one million views on tic tac,to 1 million views on youtube i want to,show you exactly how much i get paid for,both,so you could kind of get a comparison,it's really mind-blowing i'll post that,below as soon as it's released,i hope you found this useful please give,it a thumbs up i'll see you next time
